- Ruth· September 22nd, 2019Mahdi was absolutely fantastic, utterly engaging and incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I would like him for every tour I go on..! The tour itself has an excellent itinerary and I was particularly impressed with the bedouin camp which exceeded my expectations in every way. It was magical! The only thing is that the bus in Jordan has quite poor air conditioning, but it was still okay.Show moreAbraham Tours commented on this reviewHey Ruth, I am happy to hear you enjoy the tour, guide, and accommodation. - EEsther· September 17th, 2019Sam is a passionate and funny guide who made the experience really valuable. He gave us useful tips and we learned about the culture a lot. - Christian· September 12th, 2019Mamood (he didn't introduce himself very clearly) was insiteful when he wanted to be, he had a lot of info to share but didn't seem to want to. We often found ourselves rushed to lunch when the itinerary stated we had more time at sites, and often the guide would be seen getting complimentary gifts and beverages for bringing us there, we felt used tbh. Petra was advertised as staying longer than usual at 5-6 hours Where as we barely got 4 hours. We had no contact info for him so if something were to go wrong we would be stuck, he wasn't present at our campsite overnight so again if one of us became ill we would have no way of getting in touch with him. Over all the tour had a lot to offer he just failed to meet our expectations.Show moreAbraham Tours commented on this reviewDear Christian, Thank you for your review and for taking the time to write about your experience. It is unfortunate to hear that the guide did not meet your expectations, we will be sure to pass along your comments to management and to the guide. This... Show moreTrip date: September 2019

Asked on January 22nd, 2023Will we need a visa for Jordan? We have US passports. What is the average temperatures in Jordan and Israel in the start of March?
- Abraham ToursOperator•Written January 2023
As US passport holders, you are eligible for a visa on arrival to Jordan. March is a great time to travel in Israel and Jordan, the weather is usually fine, around 20C, it can get quite cold at night especially in the desert in Jordan so come prepared with layers.

Traveler•Written January 2023Do you guys buy the visa for us, or do we apply for it on the border going to Jordan? Do we pay any tax or any fee when we will be going back from Jordan to Israel? Does a tour guide help us to cross the border with Jordan? Where is the best exchange rate for buying the local currency? Can we buy the currency at the border? Can this tour be canceled by the company if there's not enough participants in the tour?
- Abraham ToursOperator•Written January 2023
We make sure that you get the visa on arrival but you do need to pay for it at the border. Border fees include: Exit fee from Israel - 196 ILS, Entry Visa to Jordan - 40 Jordan Dinars (cash only), Exit Fee from Jordan - 10 Jordan Dinars (cash only). You can exchange money at the border or use the ATM there. You cross the border by yourselves as a group. There is always a slight chance of cancellation if the tour does not reach its minimum number of participants but this is rare with our multi-day Petra tours.
