Outshine Adventure Operator•Written November 2025You may need to arrive minimum 3 working official days before your departure to apply the visa / permits in Chinese Embassy. You are not allow to have chinese visa for Tibet Travel, they have special Tibet Visa in paper, they even cancel chinese visa in case if you have in advance. We do all the paper works including all the Tibet permits with your scanned copy of your passport and visa on arrival here at Chinese Embassy on your arrival.

Yes, for now it is good enough sending a passport copy, but for visa we need your original passport for 3 complete working days, monday to friday. The latest you could be in kathmandu is before 10 am on 17 Dec. We also need 4 people minimum in a group, as Dec is off season not sure if we will have enough people for the date, if there are not enough people the tour will be postponed for the next saturday as per the group size.

Asked on July 14th, 2025I am looking for 27th September to join your tour as a single traveller. 1. I plan to arrive 21/22. September in Kathmandu. Would this be enough for the Visa? Do I need a Chinese Visa as well or is this Visa enough? 2. are there enough people for the tour at this date? 3. On day 7 in the description there are sights in Lhasa to be visited but at the same time a 8-9hours drive to shelkar and on day 8 in the description there is a 9-10h drive from shelkar to kerong/Kathmandu. Could you please specify: I would like to return by car. Does this mean that day 7 there are no sights, but a drive back to shelkar? 4. unfortunately I will know in 3-4 weeks if I can book this tour. Is this still ok? 5. are there any additional costs but single room (195) and visa fee (125)?

Yes, arriving on 21 or 22 would be enough for the visa process with your original passport. Yes, you can process ahead for the tour. Yes, on day 7 no day 8 no places to visit we just drive back to Nepal. Yes, single room private is an additional 195 dollars pay on arrival and also for visa fees.
