Richtersveld to Fish River Canyon
You have the option to paddle out on a canoe trip on the Orange River to explore the Richtersveld from the water. From there, you continue to the Fish River Canyon where late afternoon light reflects beautifully off the different rock layers as you take in the views.

Fish River Canyon to Namib Naukluft
Head deeper into Namibia on dirt roads, crossing over the Tsaris Pass toward the Namib Naukluft area. You'll camp for the night to prepare for tomorrow's visit to Sesriem and Sossusvlei, so get some rest at your base camp.

Namib Naukluft - Sossusvlei
Rise early and head into Namib Naukluft National Park. Climb Dune 45 for panoramic views across the sand-sea, then walk through Deadvlei with its stark white salt pan. Later you visit Sesriem Canyon beneath the red dunes. By evening, you're sleeping under the desert stars on a local farm in the Khomas region.

Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe
Head inland to Spitzkoppe where granite boulders rise dramatically from the flat plateau. A local guide shows you rock overhangs and explains the San bushmen drawings and depictions left centuries ago. After exploring, you settle in to spend the night under the stars for an authentic African experience.

Spitzkoppe to Etosha National Park

Etosha to Windhoek
Pass through farming towns where you get a sense of everyday life for local Namibians. Then continue to Windhoek, Namibia's capital with the largest population concentration. By evening, the group often gathers for a meal at the legendary Joe's Beerhouse.

Windhoek to Kalahari

Kalahari to Maun

Maun to Okavango Delta
Load up your gear and head across sandy terrain to the poling station at the water's edge. Meet resident guides who take you out on mokoros, traditional canoes, to your camp in the wild. The gentle rocking motion of the canoe offers a unique way to take in the delta's scenic beauty before you go on a nature walk as the day cools.

Okavango Delta to Maun
Start early with a walking game search as the sun rises. After the walk, you pack up camp and return by mokoro across the delta back toward Maun. Nata to Kasane
Journey north through vast mopane woodlands to Kasane at the edge of Chobe National Park. This afternoon, board the Fish Eagle Cruise and glide along the Chobe River watching animals come down to drink and play. The birdlife from the water is particularly good.

Kasane to Livingstone
Explore Chobe National Park on an open vehicle game drive, spotting large populations of elephants, lions, and different antelope species. After settling in, visit Mosi oa Tunya National Park to see Victoria Falls.

South Luangwa National Park Game Drive
Rise early for a guided game drive with your resident guide. The park harbors 60 animal species and over 400 bird species including hippos, elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and giraffe across 20,000 sq. miles of savannah. After the drive, you head to Chipata for the night.
