Asked on November 21st, 2024Why are all the reviews 6 years old? I'd appreciate some more current ones.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024
This trip has only just come back after Covid, so that is probably why there are no updated reviews on the Tour Radar site. If you go to the G Adventures website and type the tour name in the search bar, then you will be able see reviews on the website. The review section is on the right of the screen and you just click on the stars and it will take you to the reviews.

Asked on October 16th, 2024Exactly how challenging is the physical portion of this trip (22 day - Colombian Culture, Caribbean and the Lost City). I am 65; I have completed several tours where hiking were involved (in Sir Lanka and Thailand), so please rate the physical fitness requirement (on a scale of 1 to 5). Also is your luggage stored, or transported forward, during the hiking portions of the trip?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2024
Physical Rating: 5 - Challenging. Serious high-altitude hikes, cycling, or other instances of heavy exercise. Come prepared to sweat a bit. The Colombia - Lost City Trekking tour is what makes this a 5 out of 5. Many of our team members who have trekked around the world consider this our hardest trek that we offer, mainly because of the suffocating heat and humidity, combined with slippery conditions that will challenge not just every ounce of your body, but your will to go on as well.

Asked on June 28th, 2023What are the ages of the other travelers in this group and dynamics of the group? Are there other single travelers?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written June 2023
For this trip date, there are 9 solo travellers who have confirmed their space, and ages of the group range from 1960's born to 1990's born so there is a good mix!

Asked on August 19th, 2022can you give me some idea of how bad the mozzies will be on the trek to La Ciudad Perdido?! They're the only things that find me really attractive so I'm wondering if they'll torment me so much I won't enjoy the trek
- G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2022
Mosquitos are common in Colombia, we highly recommend bringing some form of insect repellent. While the campsites have mosquito nets over the beds and hammocks, mosquitos can be unavoidable at times. A sleep sheet can help to prevent bug bites at night as well.
