Itinerary
- Day 1
Reykjavik
You'll arrive in Reykjavik whenever your flight gets in, so the day is yours to settle in and explore on your own if you want. There's nothing scheduled until evening when you'll meet your CEO and the rest of your travel group at a welcome meeting. Good time to grab dinner somewhere nearby or just rest up before the trip officially kicks off.

Reykjavik to Akureyri
After breakfast in Reykjavik, you'll head north by private vehicle toward Akureyri, the largest town in North Iceland. Once there, walk around the old town and grab lunch at one of the local restaurants if you're interested. From Akureyri, there's an optional whale-watching excursion available. If you go for it, you'll travel along Eyjafjörður with chances to spot local wildlife and small villages tucked into the coastline before heading back.

Landmarks/POIs Akureyri Eyjaffjörður - Day 3
Akureyri to Bakagerdi
You'll travel by private vehicle from Akureyri toward Mývatn lake, stopping first at Goðafoss waterfall to take photos and stretch. Next comes Dimmuborgir, where you can walk through the dark lava formations that make this place feel otherworldly. Later you'll check out the geothermal area at Námaskarð before getting to Dettifoss, one of Europe's most powerful waterfalls. By evening you'll arrive in Bakagerdi in the East Fjords and settle in at a local guesthouse for the night.

Bakagerdi to Hofn
Leaving Bakagerdi this morning, you'll drive along the eastern coastline heading toward Höfn. The route takes you through the fjords with plenty of stops to take in the scenery. Vatnajökull glacier, Europe's largest ice cap, dominates the views as you travel south, and you'll have chances to pull over and appreciate the landscape along the way.

Hofn to Vík
This is the day for Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. You'll see seals lounging on bright blue ice and massive icebergs floating toward shore. There's an optional boat tour of the lagoon if that appeals to you, or head to nearby Diamond Beach instead to walk among glacier ice chunks against black sand. From there, continue to Skaftafell National Park where you can hike some trails or take an optional guided glacier hike with all the gear provided. Then it's on to the small town of Vík for the night.

Vík to Reykjavik
Start this morning at Reynisfjara beach, then head west along the Golden Circle route. You'll stop at Seljalandsfoss and Gullfoss waterfalls, so bring a camera. Next comes Geysir Hot Springs where you can watch geothermal activity up close, and then Þingvellir National Park to round out the day. By early evening you'll be back in Reykjavik.

Departure day. You can leave whenever suits your flight time. If you're interested and have pre-booked it ahead of time, there's an optional snorkeling activity available in Þingvellir National Park, though this needs to be arranged before your trip starts.
