One notable subject was that our guide gave us excellent service and consideration. The hikes were very well planned and there was always a great view or waterfall. The most difficult hike was on the last day and I feel the walks leading up to it increased my stamina. The leader was always making sure we were safe while being very enthusiastic and encouraging. The lodging was adequate. The transportation was excellent. He made sure every person was safe at all times and kept track of all of us. I loved learning about this beautiful island from Filip who is a native Madeiran. The other travelers were lovely people.
