The locations are amazing but brief. Lots of time spent on a bus stuck in traffic. Hotels range from great to subpar. Hotel locations range from good to to far out. Food was mostly subpar and minimal. If you’re a vegan don’t waste your time. If a vegetarian or omnivore/carnivore you’ll be disappointed.

Overall, the tour was fantastic. Diogo, the tour guide was exceptional. Sam, our coach driver, was equally as fantastic! Both made the trip very memorable and exciting.

The best trip ever! Very busy, but worth every moment. Our guide, Gabi, was amazing. Professional, considerate to all. Kept things on track, and fixed all problems along the way. She was so informative and funny. We ended up feeling we were on an amazing family vacation with everyone.

Without doubt one of the favourite tours Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Tania tour Guide and Sam the driver , our names were mentioned on the board and we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that she deserves a special thanks. We had 7 great days there, which obviously also added up to the experience. Tania is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking and explaining everything . The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to all of us. All respect for Tania who does a great job there; a true sample of excellent tour guide! And Sam the excellent driver She treats her guests Fairly, friendly, and perfectly. She is keen to make the tour is organized. She is organized, and very punctual. The tour program was was scheduled well, was on time. We didn't miss anything during the tour program. She is very humorous. We met her in the first time, and we felt we knew her for long time. Many Thanks and well done Tour expat

Our Tour Leader Mario and our driver Sam were excellent. I did feel that too the tour crammed too much into the 8 days. It my view less countries (and travel time on the bus) would further enhance the experience.

The person I am travelling with is 78 years old and you have a limit of 75. She is in very good shape. Just did the hike to Machu Picchu. I don't see anything strenuous on this trip. Could she please be given an exception.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten June 2025

We completely understand your concern, and we're happy to reassure you that we have a very wide range of ages on our tours. In fact, we don't restrict our travelers based on age at all — a positive attitude and an open mind are far more important than a number! It's wonderful to hear that she recently completed the hike to Machu Picchu — that's incredibly impressive and speaks volumes about her energy and spirit. As long as she feels comfortable with the itinerary, we'd be delighted to have her join the adventure!

One passenger is 80 years old but your itenerary say age till 70 or 75 can he still join?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten June 2025

Travelers over 75 years old are welcome to join our tours, including those who are 80. However, it's important to note that our itineraries can include long days, walking tours (sometimes on uneven ground), fast-pace - up to 3 hours, and steps or stairs at certain accommodations. As such, all travelers must be fit and mobile enough to manage independently, without assistance from the Tour Leader or fellow passengers.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten June 2025

Yes, the group will board the Coach daily from the Hotel and whenever there is a need to go to certain locations. Basically, what we offer are Coach Tours so it is used as primary transportation, and customers are also transported back to the Hotel in the evening.

wondering if there was a possibility of a group discount for booking for 6 guests?

    Price / Availability
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten June 2025

Currently, the discounts offered for our Tours are indicated on the Tour Radar Tour Page and it shows on which departures certain discounts are offered. We currently do not offer group discounts. Additionally, you listed the composition of your group as 4 Children and 2 Adults. Please note that minors need to be paired with an adult within your same group and that would mean that if there are 4 minors, the group needs to also have at least 4 Adults since the accommodations are only Twin-Share Rooms (2 Pax each).
