Siem Reap to Angkor Region
Your guide picks you up at 8:30 AM from the hotel to spend the day exploring Angkor's temple complex. The morning takes you to Pre Rup Temple first, then on to Banteay Srei with its intricate stone carvings that show incredible detail work. After that, you'll see Mebon Temple, which sits on what used to be an artificial island in the middle of a now-dry baray. Ta Som Temple comes next, where the distinctive gopuras are hard to miss. By early afternoon, you'll break for lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Preah Khan Temple to see the impressive carvings and Buddha statues scattered throughout. The guide brings you back to your hotel as the day winds down.
