- HBHazel T.· October 2nd, 2025Our tour guide, Jerry was incredibly informative and enthusiastic about the sites he showed us. As a local, he gave us unique insights into Ireland that truly reflected his love for the country—so much so that you can't help but fall in love with it too. Our driver, Tony, was extremely capable and made us feel safe throughout the journey. Even when navigating narrow roads and bridges, I never felt worried—his skill behind the wheel was clear. Despite some rainy weather and a few fellow tourists who seemed to complain about every little thing, I had an amazing and memorable experience. Jerry and Tony made our first trip to Ireland not just pleasant, but truly unforgettable.Show moreTrip date: September 2025

- BLBrenda· September 22nd, 2025This Irish tour was a fun way to see a lot of Ireland in a short time frame. Our tour guide, Gerry, was kind & patient with the needs of a variety of travellers. He also ensured that our group arrived at attractions early to get ahead of crowds so we didn’t have to line up to see things.Show moreTrip date: September 2025
Kerrie· September 21st, 2025A good taste of Ireland. I do prefer a smaller group when travelling, so 46 passengers too much, especially as you seem to be waiting for them to returnto the bus and too many personalities. The driver and guide very good and accommodation satisfactory. Overall we enjoyed.Show moreTrip date: September 2025 Kerrie· September 21st, 2025A good taste of Ireland. - JMJudy· September 11th, 2025The itinerary was busy, we had long days but got to see a lot so that was great. The very knowledgeable tour guide and bus driver were excellent, the bus was comfortable except that the toilet was unavailable after 3 days but we made lots of stops. The hotels were clean with comfortable beds, check-in and check-outs went very smoothly. We had included breakfasts and some meals, all of which were delicious.Show moreTrip date: August 2025

- EEdward Asked on August 13th, 2025I wanted to learn more about this 7 Day Irish Explorer. It seems to include a lot but seems me might be on a bus traveling all the time. Do you have a breakdown of time on the bus each day? Also, the cost of $1505.00 is very good but wondered what is included. I suspect I'll need to buy many excursions? Can you provide a list of available not included excusions? I have a family of 5 - my 3 kids are all in their 20's. Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written August 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written August 2025- For the Package Inclusions on each of our Tours, you may refer to the "What's Included" section on the tour page. For our Irish Explorer Tour (same with most of our tours), yes the main mode of transportation is our own Coach was what we offer are Coach Tours and the average time spent on the Coach when traveling from 1 Location to another would be around 3-5 Hours.

- JJoanna Asked on July 3rd, 2025I would like to inquire about your tour, I know it was mentioned that children must be at least 10 years old. My kid is 6 years old and I am wondering if you would consider to accomodate our request. Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025- Due to the nature of our tours being packed with activities and extensive walking, we have established a minimum age limit of 10 years old, as they may not be suitable for young children.
- JJoanna Traveler•Written July 2025No I have not book it yet as I was not sure providing the age limit. But he is a good walker, he can walk to disneyland all day?.. Your package is the one of the few tours in a week that goes both south and north spots.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025- We do need to kindly stick to our minimum age requirement of 10 years old. This policy is in place to ensure the comfort and safety of all travelers, given the fast-paced nature of the tour, longer travel days, and walking-intensive sightseeing.

- KKylie Asked on June 26th, 2025Is it best to come and stay at the hotel the night before or forgo the morning tour and meet up for dinner? - KKylie Traveler•Written June 2025I would need the exact accommodation for that first night as well as the others
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025- We recommend arriving the night before and staying at or near the starting hotel. This way, you won't need to worry about any delays or stress on the day of departure, and you'll be well-rested for the start of your adventure!
- KKylie Traveler•Written June 2025The accommodation mentioned is for the first night, that is where we meet in the morning and have dinner in the evening?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025- The meeting point is indeed the same as your accommodation for the first night. The welcome dinner will typically be held at a different venue — most likely at a local restaurant in the Temple Bar area.
- KKylie Traveler•Written June 2025Have welcomed your advise for a one day pre-tour arrival, and am looking into hotels nearby. Any suggestions? close enough for an early morning meet up?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025- Since we don't offer pre- or post-tour accommodation, you'll need to book this separately, and Booking.com is a great place to start. You can use the tour's meeting point hotel as a reference when searching — this will help you find either that specific hotel or nearby alternatives within easy reach.

Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025- The starting point for the Irish Explorer tour is the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel at 1A Naas Rd, Newlands Cross, Dublin 22. - WWendy Asked on June 17th, 2025Can you give me a rough idea of what time you get to Galway early arvo on Day 3? I wanted to see if I could fit in a visit to the Shrine of Our Lady at Knox. Could I be dropped off nearby the shrine on the way to Galway and then make my way to Galway on my own? Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025- On Day 3 of Our Irish Explore Tour, the group will arrive in Galway at around 3:30 PM. The day starts in Derry then the group travels to Sligo and then on to Galway. The group will have an Orientation Tour in Galway at around 4:15 PM and at around 5:30 PM will be Free Time.
- WWendy Traveler•Written June 2025As a solo traveler, do you pair me up with another solo traveler for accommodation, as I'm willing to share, or do I have to pay a single supplement? I may need to leave the group on the last day when we leave Killarney as I may need to be in Cork. Would the tour be going past Cork/near Cork where I could be dropped off? If not I'll just make my way there.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025 Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025- Since you're a solo traveler and happy to share, you'll be paired with another solo traveler of the same gender - no need to pay the single supplement unless you prefer a private room. Regarding your plan to possibly leave the group early in Killarney to head to Cork, that's absolutely fine. While the coach won't be stopping in Cork, you're welcome to make your own way there. Just be sure to let your Tour Leader know in advance so they're aware of your change in plans and can assist with any local guidance if needed.
