Las Vegas
Your adventure kicks off with a welcome meeting at 5 pm in Las Vegas. If you arrive early, you'll have time to check out the casinos, catch a show, wander through different neighborhoods and see what the arts scene has to offer before the official start.

Landmarks/POIs Las Vegas - Day 2
Las Vegas to Sequoia National Park
You'll drive across state lines through the Mojave Desert, watching the landscape shift from desert to the peaks of the southern Sierras as you head toward Sequoia National Park. After settling into your accommodation in the afternoon, dinner with the group at a local restaurant is included.

Sequoia National Park
Following breakfast, your leader takes you on walks around Sequoia National Park with stops to see General Sherman, the Giant Forest and other massive trees. You'll drive through Tunnel Log, check out Tharp's Log and keep an eye out for marmots, black bears and bighorn sheep.

Sequoia National Park to Yosemite National Park
After breakfast, you'll head to Yosemite National Park and take a guided hike through Yosemite Valley, passing waterfalls, granite outcrops and meadows. Later at sunset, join a naturalist for stargazing to learn about astronomy and constellations. Your hotel is just minutes from the park entrance.

Yosemite National Park
The day is yours to explore Yosemite with optional leader-led walks on some of the park's best trails. If weather's clear, drive up to Glacier Point for views across the valley to Half Dome. The afternoon is free for hiking the Mist Trail, biking or checking out park history. Pizza picnic dinner happens in the park.

Yosemite National Park to San Francisco
You'll leave Yosemite and head west to San Francisco. Walk across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, then check into your hotel. At sunset, there's an optional catamaran cruise around the bay to see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. An optional group dinner is available afterward.

San Francisco
This is your free day to explore San Francisco. Browse vintage stores on Haight Street, catch a tram to the waterfront or take a boat to Alcatraz Island. New travelers arriving today will have a welcome meeting at 6 pm with an optional group dinner to meet the rest of the group.

San Francisco to Crescent City
You'll drive up the coast with stops for coastal views. The Avenue of the Giants offers a scenic drive lined with huge redwoods and you can drive through one if you'd like. From there, it's on to Crescent City for accommodation and a relaxing evening.

Redwood National Park
Explore Redwood National Park with your leader choosing hikes based on what the group can handle. Walk among ancient trees with ferns, visit natural lakes and springs or check out Trillium Falls. You'll head back to Crescent City later for a group dinner at a local restaurant.

Crescent City to Crater Lake National Park
Cross into Oregon and reach Crater Lake National Park, formed 7700 years ago when an eruption caused the mountain to collapse. Walk the Rim Drive viewpoints and take walks to get the best views of the USA's deepest lake. Stay at a nearby motel with dinner on your own.

Crater Lake to Portland
You'll explore Oregon's wine country in the Willamette Valley, a region known for its beauty and Pinot Noir production. Visit a local winery for tasting and have a picnic lunch with your group overlooking vineyards and rolling hills. Later, continue to Portland for a leader-led orientation walk. Dinner is on your own at local spots.

Portland
Head to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area to see spectacular river canyon views, dramatic cliffs and ridges against the Cascade Mountain Range. Walk around Multnomah Falls (620 ft tall), stroll the scenic bridge near the falls and feel the water spray. You'll spend another night in Portland.

Portland to Olympic National Park
Cross into Washington State and the Olympic Peninsula to reach Olympic National Park. It's a long drive through beautiful scenery to Kalaloch Beach, a Pacific Northwest beach with giant trees washed up on shore. There's an optional visit to the Tree of Life or Tree Root Cave. An included group dinner happens at your lodge.

Olympic National Park to Seattle
Visit the Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park with its thick canopy of moss and ferns. Take a walk with your leader and then continue to Seattle. You'll get a tour of the seaport city with an orientation walk featuring the Space Needle, Pike Place Market and grunge music spots. An optional farewell dinner is available.
