Antigua
You'll arrive in Antigua, which is about an hour from Guatemala City airport. After you get there, you'll meet your CEO and the rest of the group at a Welcome Moment. Later, head to El Barrio to walk through the vibrant marketplace of small bars and pubs so you can get to know everyone.

Antigua to Copán Ruinas
This is a full day traveling from Antigua across the border into Honduras. You'll arrive in Copán Ruinas in the evening, a colonial highland town in a coffee-growing region that sits along a river close to Guatemala. The landscape here is really nice with all the coffee plantations around.

Copán Ruinas
You have free time to explore Copán at your own pace. Option to visit the impressive Mayan ruins with local guides who explain the detailed carvings from over 1,000 years ago. Or trek through the countryside to find hidden jungle hot springs for a relaxing soak in the warm water.

Copán Ruinas to Suchitoto
Cross the border into El Salvador and travel to Suchitoto, a colonial town. Make sure to try pupusas, which is a local Salvadorian specialty and really the thing to eat when you're there. You'll have a chance to grab some during the day or at a meal.

Suchitoto to La Libertad
You have a free morning to walk around Suchitoto before heading to the coast in the La Libertad region. By evening you'll be in small surfing towns. The sunsets here are beautiful, so grab a cold drink and spend some time watching the sun go down over the water.

La Libertad
This is your free day in the laid-back beach towns. You could take a surf lesson, eat fresh ceviche at the fish market in nearby La Libertad, or visit the Tamanique waterfalls if you want something more active. Or just chill out with a beer and relax by the ocean.

La Libertad to León
Set off early for a full day of travel by land and sea to Nicaragua. You'll go by private vehicle and boat, crossing the border before finishing up in colonial León with a brief orientation walk to get your bearings in the town.

León to Granada
Travel to Granada and see its colorful colonial buildings on an orientation walk. The town is surrounded by active volcanoes and lakes with many fun easy day trips available from here. Later in the evening, the group heads out for a Big Night Out to celebrate and have some fun together.

Granada
You have free time to explore Granada's busy markets, colonial buildings and museums on foot or by horse and carriage. Enjoy a meal on the calzada, a pedestrian street that goes from the center of town down to Lake Nicaragua. Optional activities include walking in the forest or trying water sports.

Granada to Ometepe Island
Travel from Granada to San Jorge, then cross Lake Nicaragua by ferry to reach Ometepe Island, which is formed from two volcanoes rising out of the middle of the lake. You'll be split into small groups and stay with local families for a two-night homestay experience. Breakfast and dinner are provided each day.

Ometepe Island
You have a free day on Ometepe to spend more time with your host families. Climb either Volcano Concepción or Volcano Maderas, view pre-Columbian petroglyphs, walk or kayak in Charco Verde reserve, or swim in clear spring water at Ojo de Agua. You could also relax on the beach or explore by bicycle.

Ometepe Island to Monteverde
Take the ferry back to the mainland and cross into Costa Rica, traveling to Monteverde, a cloud forest region at 1,400 meters above sea level. This area is home to sloths, monkeys, jaguars, and has more species of orchids than anywhere else in the world. The landscape is lush and misty.
