Will come back again to spend more time in the cities as the tour touches on everything but not enough time which is expected. Very comfortable hotels and transport. Canada is a huge country so there are a few days were you spend it mostly on the bus with some stops every few hours, but DO NOT let that discourage you from taking this tour. - BWBrian· June 1st, 2024This was an "8-day" tour starting in Toronto and ending in Montreal. As a New Zealand author of novels and short stories, I have travelled widely (about 23 countries). This is my fifth coach tour, the others being through Europe with Trafalgar and Expat Explore. In comparison, the hotels used by Cosmos were superior and all but one were located near shops, supermarkets and attractions. On the second day, the tour kicked off with a hiss and a roar as we travelled to Niagara Falls and for me, the highlight was being on a large boat at the bottom of the falls. Old Quebec City was another highlight together with its interesting history involving the French and English. Our tour leader, Nadine, did an excellent job giving the history and attending to our needs. The coach driver, Dave, was also very friendly and helpful. My wife and I took advantage of two optional excursions: A traditional sugar-shack Dinner, and Quebec countryside dinner and Montmorency Falls. I would recommend the latter. The overnight train to Halifax was a great experience and so glad we did it. However, we felt the journey took too long, but that was due to train delays. We felt that when we arrived in Halifax, 4 hours late and tired, Carol did not seem to be organised at all. She did not order enough taxis to get 11 people and 10 peoples cases to the hotel. The HST/GST Taxes do not include the gratuities. You are able to add the pre-paid gratuities for an additional $128 CAD per person. There are no included meals but each hotel does have an on-site restaurant.

Hotel quality generally varies from Moderate First Class to Superior First Class (roughly 3-4 stars). The coach has air conditioning and an emergency washroom, though this facility is not meant to be used regularly in lieu of the restrooms at frequent comfort stops approximately every 2 to 2½ hours. There are no included meals on this itinerary.
