From the welcome get together our CEO made it his mission to make our experience as special as possible and for me he succeeded. Mayer made sure that we were first at most of the historical sites to avoid the crowds when ever possible. Generally, I travel solo, but figured the logistics of navigating upper and lower Egypt was more than I could handle in a short period of time. I selected "G" based on the itinerary and the small group sizes, though I have been researching them for years waiting for the right time for a trip. The overall experience was amazing! First and foremost, our intelligent and energetic CEO, Saad, really made the trip. Anyone can spout facts and information, but he truly seems to enjoy what he does, and this enthusiasm was contagious. Every time he spoke about the history of Egypt his eyes lit up and he often covered his heart with his hands. Saad truly seems to be a people person and we all enjoyed having him as our CEO. Others from our group have been on other 'G' trips so they were able to compare and contrast more so than I. Either way, Saad was great! That's over and above all the logistics he must deal with daily. I truly enjoyed the itinerary and felt I had adequate time everywhere. This tour is open to all ages and the largest demographic of our travellers is 55+. This tour has a physical rating of 2 out of 5 so light walking and hiking suitable for most fitness levels. Nothing too challenging. For the month of June and into July please be advised that it can be quite hot in Egypt. Because of the heat it is less busy as it is the low season so if you can tolerate the heat it can be an advantage.
