- ACarolyn· September 18th, 2023On this particular tour a travel agent Keith from Vermont along with his group of 15 people called Champlain tours were added to Globus. Although our tour guide Joe was extremely great, very knowledgeable about giving us information about what the areas we were seeing, he was very helpful helping us with free time excursions. Tammy our coach driver was excellent, I felt very safe with her driving and both were very good about making sure we were all accounted for before moving on. Then the issue with Keith, he made the Globus guests feel separate from his group, when we stopped at a tour pint he would say " I need to talk to Champlain people when we get off the bus" making those of us with Globus feel awkward. One morning he sat with my friends and husband and asked what we thought of our tour guide Joey! I think I made him uncomfortable by responding with "I feel Joey is an excellent tour guide!" He would get up before every stop and repeat what Joe told us about the area as though we weren't there. He put together a video of places we were and included only his group as I'd we didn't exist. Then as the tour was ending he got up and tipped the bus drive then told a very off colored joke bout her, who does that?? I give my extremely satisfied to Joe the tour guide and Tammy the coach driver. Had I known that a disrespectful travel agent with another tour was coming I would have cancelled.Show moreTrip date: September 2023Review collected by Globus

Asked on August 21st, 2025Would there be too much walking for my 82 year old Father. He walks with a cane and very slowly. Would we be able to rent a walker or wheelchair for parts of the tour?
GlobusOperator•Written August 2025This tour is considered on of our moderately challenging tours. There will be light to a considerable amount of walking. You will be required to walk full flights of stairs, walk on uneven or cobblestone terrain or stand for prolonged periods of time. You will also be required to get on and off the bus unassisted. We do not rent wheelchairs or scooters. You are able to bring a wheel chair with you on tour (we do not allow motorized scooters on tour).

Asked on July 8th, 2025How many people are on each tour? What are the hotel ratings?
GlobusOperator•Written July 2025Our small group departures are approximately 28 people. Globus has made a commitment to place guests in first-class hotels (F) or better, located centrally in the overnight location allowing for maximum sightseeing opportunities when possible. However, this vacation visits National Parks and other remote locations where facilities may not be up to the first-class standard you expect from Globus. Some lodges within the parks do not have air-conditioning, televisions, and other amenities you would expect from most Globus hotels.
