All the private drivers, shared shuttles and private boat captains were on time and courteous. The tour guides for the boat tour and volcano both spoke English which was helpful. The highlight of the trip was the Mayan Family Stay. My daughter and I were fortunate to stay with Daniel's wonderful wife and children. They made us feel so welcomed. We ate authentic Guatemala food which was delicious and his daughter taught us to make fresh tortillas while we were wearing their native dresses.Show more

Traveler•Written March 2024We are due to arrive in guatemala city on 20th of August, but will take a few days for rest in Antigua. So we would not need the transfer on day 1 (22), we would be already in Antigua. We would therefore start the activities on the 23rd with the pacaya trek. Regarding the weather, I've seen that this is part of rainy season in guatemala: do you think this would greatly affect the activities (for example, the pacaya trek?)

We are able to do this tour with 2 people as minimum on March 1st, at this time we don't have more people yet, but we are sure to collect more people, so if you want to be the first one to book you can do it and we will let you know if someone will book it.
