- JWJeffrey· October 14th, 2024The tour is great! We have seen all Big Fives, including the most elusive leopard. The landscape is magnificent! The tour guide, chef, truck and gam drivers are all pleasant, responsible and helpful. There are a few things I wish I had been informed before the trip: 1. Visa for both Kenya and Tanzania; 2. Bring sleeping bags, towels and toilet paper (this is esswntially a camping trip); 3. Plenty of small bills of USD be cause it's the preferred currency from tourist. As long as you are well-prepared, this is a tour if life time!Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewThank you so much for your wonderful review, Jeffrey! It’s fantastic to hear that you had such an unforgettable experience on your safari and even got to spot the elusive leopard—what a treat! We're thrilled that you found the landscapes breathtaking... - Kelly· September 1st, 2023I really love my Serengeti trip! The workers were awesome, Jacob, Evy, and Eric rocked it! They were always ready for anything. The food was always delicious and we never went hungry. People said they liked a certain thing and she made sure to include that. Jacob was helpful with setting up and always told us what to expect and was full of knowledge. Eric was an awesome driver.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your experience on your Serengeti Trail trip. - Anonymous· January 23rd, 2020We were unable to do Serengeti game drives because use the the 2wd overland truck promptly got stuck for 3 hours by the campsite. Perhaps they should offer a game drive option in real 4x4 like the other companies? Locals said this happens regularly: (Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHi T, we're glad you enjoyed the rest of your trip but will pass on your feedback about the game drive vehicles. - ABenjamin M· September 18th, 2019I have given this rating as I found the first two days in Kisii and Lake Victoria a complete waste of time. Effectively these days were literally pure travelling on the vehicle. No real experiences to be gained...... especially when coming off the Kenyan Wildlife Experience. 6-7hours backtracking to the same region where I was on the last day of my previous tour.... When you sell the 15 day Masai Heartlands Tour, you don't expect to be backtracking. Also, the lack of Game Drive by 4x4 in Serengeti was a real disappointment. The overland vehicle should not be used for any game drives. The vehicle is soooo loud and noisy, it scares off the wildlifeShow moreTrip date: December 2018

The Group size for this tour is Max 22 and number of booked passengers can vary by departure. Transportation on this tour is Overland vehicle, and 4x4 safari vehicle at the parks.
