Lots of animals, snorkeling, outdoor time, etc. Group was good and Intrepid was good (this was my first trip with them) but I wouldn't consider this an "adventure" tour. More cultural and animal watching and the activities were not on a level that needed prior experience as specified in the notes. Intrepid TravelOperator•Written April 2025We do have special life jackets designed for snorkeling, and we also provide ring floats for extra support during the activity. As for the local fees, most places do accept credit cards, but we recommend carrying some cash just in case, especially for smaller vendors or remote spots.

Asked on June 7th, 2024Is the flight from Quito to San Crisobal Island included in the trip or do we book our own flights? Also it says 9 nights in a hotel but then says the tour ends on day 9 in Quito and if you want to stay longer you can arrange for extra accommodation. So I am confused where the 9th night in a hotel is? If I wanted to stay a couple of extra days in the Galapagos is that a possibility? If the flight is included could it be changed to a couple of days later?

Only the flight from Quito to San Cristobal Island and your flight back to Quito from Isla Santa Cruz are included. You will have to book your own arrival and departure flights to and from your home country.

Instead of the hike you can spend some time at the beach on your own, Concha y Perla. As there are not much more activities they could do without a Guide present. We also offer Tunneles excursion as an optional.
