Windhoek to Etosha National Park
Your guide meets you at Hosea Kutako International Airport or picks you up from your Windhoek accommodation. You'll stop by the Craft Market in Okahandja before heading toward Etosha National Park's gate. If your arrival time works out, there's an afternoon game drive on the schedule. The day wraps up with dinner and a conversation with your guide about what's coming up on the trip.

Etosha National Park
After breakfast, you'll spend the full day on game drives throughout Etosha National Park. You'll see elephants, giraffes, lions, and leopards at the park's waterholes. With over 340 bird species and 114 mammals around, there's plenty to photograph and observe. Your guide explains the ecosystem and helps you spot rare animals like black-faced impalas. You'll break for lunch, then head back out to check the water points and salt pans for more wildlife.

Etosha National Park to Twyfelfontein Area
Breakfast at the lodge comes first, and then you're back out for another safari in Etosha. You'll watch wildlife on the pan and around water points while making your way toward Okaukuejo Resort. Lunch happens at Halali, giving you time to refresh. The drive connects Etosha with your next stop in the Twyfelfontein area, so you're moving through different parts of the park today.

Twyfelfontein
This morning focuses on the Himba culture. You'll learn about their customs, traditions, and daily life while they share their connection to the land. There's time for traditional dances and storytelling to understand how they live in harmony with nature. In the afternoon, you head to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO site with rock engravings and paintings from 2,000 to 6,000 years ago. The landscape has rugged mountains and red sandstone that make for interesting exploration.

Twyfelfontein to Swakopmund
You'll drive to Swakopmund, which sits between the Namib Desert dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. This town mixes German colonial architecture with a vibrant cultural atmosphere. The afternoon is free for you to walk the beaches, check out historic streets, craft markets, and boutique shops with handcrafted jewelry and desert art. If you're interested, optional activities like skydiving, hot air ballooning, or dolphin cruises are available.

Walvis Bay to Swakopmund
An early start takes you to Walvis Bay, Namibia's main port. You'll board a catamaran (up to 25 people) for an early morning ocean trip looking for sea lions, dolphins, pelicans, cormorants, and the rare Mola-Mola fish. Light lunch happens on the boat while you watch the aquatic life. You'll return to Swakopmund in the afternoon with the rest of the day free to explore this historic German-founded city.

Swakopmund to Namib Desert
Today's drive takes you through the Namib Desert, one of the oldest and driest deserts in the world, stretching over 2,000 km along the coast. You'll pass Kuiseb Canyon, the Tropic of Capricorn, and Guab Pass. There's a quick stop at Solitaire for photos and refreshment. The dune formations here range from 40 to 15 million years old. Later, you settle at the lodge and can relax by the swimming pool.

Sossusvlei and Deadvlei
After breakfast, you explore Sossusvlei and Deadvlei with their dramatic landscapes. The Sossusvlei dunes rise over 375 meters above the Tsauchab River, making them some of the world's highest. Deadvlei has dead camel thorn trees surrounded by red sands that create striking photos. You'll visit Dune 45, walk through Sesriem Canyon, and take in Namib Naukluft views. The contrast between the white clay floor and fiery red dunes creates something really distinctive for photography.

Kalahari Desert
After breakfast, you drive to the Kalahari Desert in south-central Namibia near Mariental. You'll explore the shifting golden sands, climb dunes for panoramic views, and search for Kalahari lions, meerkats, gemsboks, and springboks. Late afternoon brings a sunset experience. You'll also meet with the San people (Bushmen), who've lived here for thousands of years, learning about their traditions and their spiritual connection to the desert.

Kalahari Desert to Windhoek
A quiet breakfast at the lodge comes before you drive back to Windhoek, arriving in late morning or early afternoon. If there's time, your guide can show you around the city or you can do some shopping. Later, you'll be transferred to the international airport if your flight is departing.
