Asked on July 5th, 2024Is there a single supplement, What level of cycling fitness is required, What are the elevations
- Adventure SouthOperator•Written July 2024
A single supplement is available on the 22 September tour, or we can match you together with another solo male traveller to twin share a room. The days are around 40-80km of riding, so you need to be able to ride for 4-6 hours each day, for 6 consecutive days, on gravel with hills. But the support vehicle is always available if you wish to ride shorter distances. The elevations are moderate, it is undulating trail and you will climb around 300m per day, with one big climb of 250m on day 3.

Asked on July 3rd, 2024i need the actual address of the meeting place. Also, we want to rent the ebike for this tour, could you provide the ebike spec, brand, model and photo pls
- Adventure SouthOperator•Written July 2024
We meet at Cathedral Junction on Worcester Street in central Christchurch at 8am (which is also directly outside the Quest Serviced Apartments). Our eBikes are Sinch bikes, and the model depends on the height of the client. Smaller riders will use the low step Jaunt EZ3 bikes, more details can be found here. Taller riders will have the bikes with the high cross bar, which are a Sinch Mode 3.

Traveler•Written July 2024The links are not clickable. Could you please send the links again for the ebikes.
- Adventure SouthOperator•Written July 2024
It seems I cannot paste links into this conversation. Perhaps do an online search, the brand of eBikes are SINCH (they are a NZ brand), and the models are Sinch Jaunt EZ3 (low step model) and the high cross bar is Sinch Mode 3.
