What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on January 28th, 2025What is the Intrepid style of accommodation? Can you equate it to a Star Rating? Also, if we book this trip can we add additional hotel nights either before or after depending on what our flight schedule turns out to be? If so, would you recommend Casablanca or Marrakesh as a place for an additional day or two? Also, what is the usual weather in Morocco in February? What is the size of the group so far?
Intrepid TravelOperator•Written January 2025For our Morocco Uncovered trip, we use standard-style accommodations, which include a variety of unique stays to enhance your experience. These include: Desert Camp (1 night), Gîte (2 nights), Riad (3 nights), Hotel (6 nights). While we do not equate our accommodations to a specific star rating, they are chosen for their comfort, local charm, and ability to provide an authentic Moroccan experience. In February, Marrakesh enjoys mild weather, with pleasant days and cooler evenings. Rainfall is minimal, making it an excellent time to explore. We currently have only one spot available for the February 12th departure.

Traveler•Written January 2025Can you advise me on the most common ways people fly to Morocco from Canada for your tours?

Andrew
Traveler•Written January 2025Since Morocco Uncovered is full, can you suggest a similar tour also in February?
Intrepid TravelOperator•Written January 2025Most travelers from Canada fly to Morocco via major European hubs like Paris, Madrid, or London, with airlines offering convenient connections. There is also a direct flight from Montreal to Casablanca with Royal Air Maroc. Some travelers choose to connect through U.S. airports like New York. Depending on the tour's starting point, Casablanca or Marrakech are the most common arrival airports.
Intrepid TravelOperator•Written January 2025We have similar tours available in February, including Best of Morocco, Classic Morocco, and Morocco Encompassed. I recommend checking our website for the most convenient itinerary based on your travel dates and preferences.

Asked on January 26th, 2025Is there a minimum requirement regarding the number of guests for the Morocco Uncovered tour? I am a solo female traveler (age 56) interested in joining other travelers.
Intrepid TravelOperator•Written January 2025The minimum group size requirement for this tour is just 1 person, so you don't need to worry about the group number to book your trip.

Traveler•Written March 20251 - Is it possible to receive the 20% discount for the August 9 start date? Are there added fees for being a solo traveler? 2 - Does the tour include airport pickup at the beginning and dropoff at the end? 3 - Can you provide a total cost estimate including average prices for meals not covered by the tour fee? 4 - As a solo female traveler, is it possible to request female guides/drivers?
Intrepid TravelOperator•Written March 2025Discounts vary based on factors like demand and seasonal promotions. The 20% discount can't be applied to the August 9 departure. A complimentary airport arrival transfer is included if you arrive on Day 1 or book pre-tour accommodation with us. Departure transfers are not included. There are no added fees for solo travelers, but a single supplement is available. While we can't guarantee female guides/drivers, all our guides are professional and experienced.
