- Day 1
Budapest to Timisoara
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide and cross into Romania at the Arad border. A walking tour takes you through the city's key sites: City Hall Palace, Palace of Culture, Red Church, Roman Catholic Church, and State Theatre. You'll have lunch if the schedule allows, then continue to Timisoara for the night.

Timisoara to Belgrade
Starting after breakfast, you'll walk through Old Town Timisoara and see its Turkish and Austro-Hungarian architecture. The city held the title of European Capital of Culture in 2019. From there, you'll pass through Arad for a brief walking tour, then stop in Vršac to visit the reconstructed fortress and take in views across the Banat hills. Later you'll cross into Serbia and head to Belgrade for the night.

Belgrade to Sarajevo
Following breakfast, your guide will take you through Belgrade's main attractions. You'll start at Knez Mihailova, a busy shopping street lined with cafes and shops, then see landmarks from Belgrade Fortress with views out over the Danube and Sava rivers. The afternoon gives you free time in the city centre before you travel to Sarajevo for the night.

Sarajevo to Mostar
After breakfast, you'll walk through Bascarsija, the historic old town where Eastern and Western cultures met. This oriental neighbourhood has cafes and shops throughout. Next you'll visit Vrelo Bosna, known for its natural springs and scenery, then head to Mostar. You'll walk the Old Town to see Stari Most (a UNESCO World Heritage bridge) and the old čaršija. Lunch comes with views at a local place, and you'll try Turkish coffee before settling in for the night.

Mostar to Dubrovnik
Starting after breakfast, you'll visit Kravica Waterfall, one of the popular spots in the Hercegnovi district, with time to look around. Then it's on to Dubrovnik, called the Pearl of the Adriatic. You'll tour the UNESCO Old Town with its preserved walls, terra-cotta roofs, and historic sites. Free time in the Old Town follows before your night stay.

- Day 6
Dubrovnik to Tirana
You'll get picked up from your Dubrovnik hotel for a scenic drive to Tirana, Albania's capital. Along the way, you'll stop to explore Kotor in Montenegro, where you'll see Triphun Cathedral, the archive museum, and the Wall of Shame with a local guide. You'll have free time to wander Kotor before continuing to Tirana and checking into your hotel for the evening.

- Day 7
Tirana to Ohrid
After breakfast, you'll take a panoramic tour of Tirana covering Skanderbeg Square, the Skanderbeg Statue, Et'hem Bey Mosque, and the Clock Tower. From there you travel towards Ohrid through historic areas. After crossing the border, you'll arrive at Ohrid, called the pearl of the Balkans on Lake Ohrid's shore. You'll visit the Old Town and see Quarantine Church, Ancient Via Egnatia, Hagia Sophia Church and Monastery, and Samoil's Fortress. You'll take in the panoramic Lake Ohrid views before the night stay.

Ohrid
You'll have a Macedonian breakfast in Ohrid, then the whole day to explore at your own pace. Walking through the historic lakeside streets is yours to do. An optional half-day tour to Sveti Naum Monastery is available, a quiet historical site on Lake Ohrid's shores where you can see the lake's source and take in the views and cultural heritage of the region.

Ohrid to Meteora
After breakfast, you'll cross into Greece and go through customs. Then you'll head towards Kastoria, known for its Byzantine churches and Ottoman architecture set by a scenic lake. You'll explore Kastoria, then travel towards Meteora. You'll rest at your accommodation near Meteora and prepare for the next day.

Meteora to Athens
Following breakfast, you'll visit the UNESCO-listed Meteora monasteries sitting atop towering rock formations. You'll tour two of these Byzantine monasteries and see the views. Then you'll transfer to Athens by shuttle or train and check into your hotel. You'll have free time to take in Athens' vibrant atmosphere.

- Day 11
Athens
You'll have breakfast at the hotel and check out. A half-day guided tour covers Athens including the Acropolis Museum. You'll travel by coach past the Greek Parliament and Panathenaic Stadium, then walk the Acropolis and see the Parthenon. This marks the end of your tour.
