- AAnonymous· October 8th, 2023The tour was perfect for us. We just had some issues with some of the traveling companions and feel that they should have been removed from the tour. Her name was Surita and she complained about everything (no paved roads, no AC in the vehicles). She had every possible symptom (motion sickness, altitude sickness) and even slowed our tour down multiple times (for stops at pharmacy etc.) They even packed full size suitcases and were still allowed on the inner flights. By the last day of the tour, she and her travelling companion had their own private land cruiser and the other 18 of us were divided into the other 3 vehicles (as nobody wanted to ride with them because of the complaining and special requests). She truly ruined the trip for many of us as we didn't get to lodges on time, etc. due to delays on her part. Many of us felt she got special treatment when in fact she should have been kicked out of the tour before we even left for Tanzania. It really put a damper on the trip for multiple folks and our entire group privately referred to her as "Princess". She also put us in jeopardy one day after complaining that she needed to sit in front next to the driver. The first thing she did was she titled the driver's side mirror in so she could see herself. Traveler•Written May 2022We are traveling for our honeymoon and I wanted to find out more about the accommodations, can you please send pictures. Also we would tp add a hot air balloon on one of the days. We would like to confirm the October 8th 2022 days for two people as well.
CosmosOperator•Written May 2022We finalize tour arrangements approximately 30 days prior to departure and the hotel list is confirmed at that time. The hotels listed below are those hotels we intend to use: Nairobi - Tamarind Tree Hotel, Maasai Mara - Mara Sopa Lodge, Amboseli National Park Area - Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Lake Manyara National Park Area - Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp, Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Marera Valley Lodge, Serengeti National Park - Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Since this is a guided tour and the itinerary is set in advance, we would not be able to arrange a hot air balloon ride. That is something you would need to arrange on your own.

Unfortunately, since we do not offer them as an excursion, we do not have a list of supplier for that type of activity in that destination. You could perhaps look online and find suppliers nearby the places you visit.

International airfares are not included in the cost of the tour, as travellers can join the trip from many different countries and as we are tour booking experts, we cannot advise on airfares specifically - you will be responsible for booking your own flights to meet with the group at the starting city of your tour.
