- Day 1
Santiago
You'll arrive in Santiago and get transferred to your hotel in Chile's capital. The city sits in the Central Valley with the Andes rising up behind it, so you'll have those mountains as a backdrop during your stay. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and adjust to the time zone.

Santiago to Torres del Paine National Park
A flight takes you south into Patagonia, and you'll land near Torres del Paine National Park where your hotel sits right at the entrance. Your rooms come with meals included, plus there are complimentary drinks and excursions to choose from. You'll spend four nights here, so this first evening is about getting oriented and enjoying the surroundings.

Torres del Paine National Park
Now you start exploring Torres del Paine, and over the next three days there are several small group activities to pick from based on what appeals to you. The park has glaciers, turquoise lakes, dramatic rock formations, and grasslands to explore. Each day you'll head out with your group, and by evening you'll return to the lodge to rest and take in the views.

Landmarks Torres del Paine National Park - Day 4
Torres del Paine National Park
More options for exploring the park's different landscapes and trails suited for different fitness levels. You might hike to the base of the famous rock towers, walk through the French Valley, try ice trekking on the Grey Glacier if you have experience, or go horseback riding across the pampas. There are multiple small group activities to choose from throughout the day.

Landmarks Torres del Paine National Park French Valley Grey Glacier - Day 5
Torres del Paine National Park
This day focuses on the water side of things. You can kayak on the bright blue lakes or calmer rivers, and if you go out on the River Grey you'll paddle right up to the face of the Grey Glacier. Alternatively, there's fly fishing for trout and salmon on the Serrano River. After your activity wraps up, you'll head back to the lodge for dinner with Patagonian-inspired cooking and South American wines.

Landmarks Torres del Paine National Park Grey Glacier River Grey Serrano River - Day 6
Torres del Paine National Park to El Calafate, Argentina
After leaving Torres del Paine, you'll drive across the border into Argentina and arrive in El Calafate. The town gets its name from a local berry, and legend says eating one means you'll come back to Patagonia someday. This is your base for visiting Los Glaciares National Park, which has massive glacier fields and colorful glacial lakes surrounded by rugged peaks. You'll stay here for three nights.

Landmarks Los Glaciares National Park - Day 7
El Calafate
You'll cruise on Lake Argentino to get up close to the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the park's main attractions. The glacier's face rises about 74 meters above the water, and you'll watch massive chunks of ice break off and crash down. After the cruise, there's a guided walk along boardwalks that give you views across the top of the glacier, which covers about 250 square kilometers.

El Calafate
Today you'll experience life on a traditional estancia, an Argentine ranch surrounded by glaciers, snowy peaks, and lakes. You'll learn about gaucho history and traditions, then get out on horseback to explore the rugged countryside. This evening there's a farewell dinner with your tour director and the rest of your group.

El Calafate
You'll transfer to the airport to continue onward, saying goodbye to your tour director and the people you've traveled with. You're leaving with memories of Patagonia's glaciers, mountains, and wild landscapes behind.
