Rio de Janeiro
Your driver meets you at arrivals and takes you to your hotel in Rio. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Keep in mind that check-in happens at 2:00 PM, so if you land earlier, you can drop your luggage at the front desk or arrange an extra night if you want to get into your room sooner.

- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
You'll have a private guide for the full day showing you Rio's main sights. The itinerary includes Christ the Redeemer, Maracanã Stadium, the Lapa Arches and Metropolitan Cathedral, the colorful Selarón Steps, and a trip up Sugarloaf Mountain for views across the city. You'll also see the Sambadrome where the big parades happen. Starting early means you'll beat the crowds at most spots. Lunch is a buffet, then the afternoon opens up for beach time and watching the sunset.

- Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
This day focuses on Rio's natural areas and culture. You'll head into Tijuca Forest, one of the world's largest urban forests right in the city, then stop at Vista Chinesa for panoramic views of Ipanema, Copacabana, Guanabara Bay, and across to Niterói. Next comes the Botanical Garden where you can see imperial palms, orchids, and spot monkeys and birds. Later, you'll take a respectful walking tour through Rocinha, Rio's largest favela community. A motorbike taxi takes you to the highest point, then you walk down through the neighborhood with a specialized guide who shares insights into local life.

Rio de Janeiro
You start at Samba City with a behind-the-scenes look at the warehouses from Rio's 14 major samba schools. At Academicos da Grande Rio, you'll tour the facility, see the exhibition covering samba history and carnival, try on some costumes for photos, and have a caipirinha at Sabor do Samba. There's also an optional mini samba lesson with a professional dancer if you want to try it. After that, you'll check out Santa Teresa with its galleries, studios, and cultural spaces, then move through Rio's historic center past the Tél éphérique Arches and Praça XV.

Angra dos Reis - Costa Verde
You'll leave your hotel early for a full-day trip to Costa Verde. The drive to Angra dos Reis takes about 2.5 hours, then you board a speedboat to explore the archipelago and hit several beaches for swimming and diving in clear blue water surrounded by Atlantic Forest. The route includes Botinas Islands, Dentista Beach, Pitangueira, Flechas Beach, and Piedade. You return to Angra port by day's end and drive back to Rio, arriving in the evening after another 2.5 hour journey.
