Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
Your driver meets you at Hanoi airport and takes you to your hotel in the city center. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around and get oriented to Vietnam's capital.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
Meet your guide at 8:00 AM and head toward Halong Bay with a stop along the way. You'll board the cruise at 12:30 and check out Surprise Cave, the largest cave in the bay. Swimming at Titop Island follows, then return for sunset with fruit and wine before dinner.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Get up early to catch the sunrise over Halong Bay. Have breakfast, then paddle your own kayak around the water and explore. A cooking class teaches you to make Vietnamese spring rolls. Lunch comes while cruising back to harbor, and your bus departs for Hanoi, arriving around 5:00 PM.

Hanoi to Hue
Spend the day on your own in Hanoi. Walk through the old quarter at a relaxed pace, try local street food, and wander the narrow lanes with their old architecture. Later in the day your driver meets you at the hotel to take you to Hanoi Train Station for an overnight train heading to Hue.

Hue
You arrive in Hue, Vietnam's ancient capital. Your driver picks you up and takes you to your hotel. After checking in, the afternoon and evening are free to explore this quiet city with its historical sites and local food scene.
- Day 6
Hue
Your guide picks you up at 7:45 AM for a full day of Hue's royal history. See the Imperial Palace, Royal Citadel, Forbidden City, and the Hue Royal Museum. Visit the seven-story Thien Mu Pagoda and take a boat cruise along the Perfume River. After lunch at a local spot, check out Minh Mang Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb, then stop at the Conical Hat and Incense Making Village before returning by 5:00 PM.

Hue to Hoi An
Your driver picks you up at 9:00 AM for the 4 to 5 hour drive to Hoi An. You'll stop at Hai Van Pass for photos of Vietnam's most famous mountain pass. Drive through Da Nang for an overview of the city, then continue to Hoi An old town. Check in and have the rest of the day to explore on your own.

Hoi An
Your guide meets you at 9:00 AM for a cycling trip through local farming villages. Take photos with farmers, rice fields, and water buffalo (you can even try riding one). Visit a local home for a traditional welcome, then board a boat through coconut palm waterways to see traditional fishing and bamboo basket boats. Help farmers with their work and finish with a foot massage and herbal treatment before lunch. Cycling back takes you to your hotel by 1:30 or 2:00 PM.

Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
Take your time in Hoi An old town tasting local foods and drinks until your driver arrives for the transfer to Da Nang airport. You'll fly to Ho Chi Minh City, where another driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
Your guide and driver pick you up at 7:30 AM heading to My Tho on the Mekong River. Board a sampan and cruise past the Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. At Unicorn Island walk country lanes, check out orchards, try tropical fruits, and listen to folk music. Take a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and visit local businesses including a honey-bee farm. After lunch cycle around Tan Thach village to meet locals and see daily life (or relax in a hammock if that's not your thing). Return to Ho Chi Minh City by 5:00 PM.

Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh
Your driver takes you to the shuttle bus office in Saigon where you board at 8:30 AM for the 6 to 7 hour journey to Phnom Penh. You'll pass through the Moc Bai border gate entering Cambodia. Once you arrive at the Phnom Penh bus office, your driver takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore Cambodia's capital.
- Day 13
Phnom Penh
Visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek to learn about the Khmer Rouge period. Have lunch at a local restaurant. After that check out Psar Toul Tom Pong (Russian Market) with its wide selection of goods. In the afternoon take a one-hour boat cruise on the Mekong River.

Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
The shuttle bus picks you up for the 6 hour journey to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at the bus station your driver meets you (no guide on this transfer) and takes you to your hotel to check in.
- Day 15
Siem Reap
After breakfast drive to Angkor Thom, the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. Visit Bayon Temple at the center and see the Terrace of the Leper King and Terrace of Elephants from the royal period. Check out the Baphuon temple from the 11th century. Have lunch, then head to Ta Prohm, the temple made famous by 'Tomb Raider' where nature has taken over. End the day at Angkor Wat, believed to be the world's largest religious building.

Based on your flight time your driver picks you up (no guide) and takes you to Siem Reap airport. That wraps up your tour, and we hope you'll come back and travel with us again.
