Your private driver picks you up when you land in Lima and takes you straight to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and adjust to the local time.

Lima
This morning you'll meet your guide for a walk through Lima's Historic Center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll see the Main Plaza, check out the Lima Cathedral, then head to modern neighborhoods like San Isidro and Miraflores. After touring the Larco Museum and having lunch at a local restaurant, you'll return to your hotel by evening.

After eating, you'll join a hands-on cooking class with chef Ralf Zúñiga, and finish with a walk through Barranco under the moonlight and dessert.

Following breakfast, you'll check out and head to the Sacred Valley by car. When you arrive and check into your hotel, the rest of your day is free to settle in and let your body adjust to the higher altitude.

Sacred Valley
Today covers several key Sacred Valley sites. You'll see Chinchero's Inca ruins and colonial church, learn about traditional alpaca wool techniques from local weavers, check out Moray's circular terraces, visit the ancient salt mines at Maras, and explore Ollantaytambo's temples and structures. Lunch is included before heading back to your hotel.

Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
You'll take a train from the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes, traveling with just a backpack since your larger bags go separately to Cusco. A hotel representative meets you at the station, and after checking in, you have the rest of the day to explore at your own pace.

- Day 7
Machu Picchu
After breakfast, a bus takes you and your guide up to Machu Picchu. You'll spend about 3 hours exploring Circuit 2, which covers the upper and lower sections including the religious areas and main Inca structures. By late afternoon, you'll return to Aguas Calientes.

Cusco
Your guide leads you through Cusco's main attractions starting at the Plaza. You'll visit the Temple of the Sun connected to the Convent of Santo Domingo, take in views from Plaza de San Cristóbal, walk through San Pedro Market, see the Qorikancha Temple, wander the artisanal shops in San Blas, view the famous Twelve Angled Stone, and finish at Cusco's Main Square with The Cathedral before returning to your hotel.
