Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and get settled at your hotel, then head to a welcome briefing in the evening where you'll meet your CEO and the rest of the group. There's an option to grab dinner together if you'd like to start getting to know people right away.

Lima
Your CEO takes you through the colorful Barranco neighborhood, including the famous Puente de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs). Stop at a local market to taste native fruits, then you'll participate in a cooking class where a Lima chef teaches you how to make ceviche and causa. The rest of your afternoon and evening are open for your own exploration.

Lima to Sacred Valley
After breakfast at your Lima hotel, you'll fly to Cusco and transfer to Chinchero in the Urubamba province. This town sits surrounded by snow-capped Andean mountains and is home to 12 indigenous communities. Lunch happens at a local restaurant that supports community development, then you'll check in at your Sacred Valley hotel with the evening free to relax.

Sacred Valley
You'll start the day at Cuyo Chico, a pottery-making community where families craft traditional adobe ceramics and share their techniques with you. Next you get a guided tour of the nearby Pisac Ruins. Lunch comes at the Parwa Community Restaurant, supported by G Adventures, where what you spend helps the local community directly.

Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
A train takes you from Ollantaytambo through the spectacular Urubamba Valley toward Aguas Calientes at Machu Picchu's base. You'll watch landscapes and small farms pass by as the route winds through the mountains. Your afternoon and evening there are flexible, with the option to soak in the natural hot springs before tomorrow's main event.

Machu Picchu
After breakfast, you'll board a bus up winding roads to reach Machu Picchu and explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site with a local guide who explains the history of the Lost City of the Incas. Lunch in Aguas Calientes is on your own, then you'll train back to Ollantaytambo and get a private vehicle transfer to Cusco. Your dinner that evening is at your leisure.

Cusco
This day is entirely yours in Cusco. You can check out nearby archaeological sites, book a massage, or join your CEO for an optional walk through the San Blas neighborhood to the Sapantiana Colonia Aqueduct. If you're interested, pre-booking a full-day Rainbow Mountain hike is possible, or just continue exploring the city at your own pace.

Cusco
Your CEO leads a walk to Koricancha (the Temple of the Sun), one of the most important sacred temples of the Inca empire, where you'll see a mix of Indigenous and colonial architecture overlooking Avenida el Sol. From there you'll walk through cobbled streets to San Pedro Market, the city's oldest food hub, sampling traditional fresh products like fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and sweets. Your afternoon is free to explore, with an optional group dinner available in the evening.
