- Day 1
Tokyo to Mount Fuji - Kawaguchiko
You'll head toward Mount Fuji starting at Arakurayama Sengen Park where you get those iconic views of the mountain. From there, it's on to Kawaguchiko, a small lakeside town where you can check out Fuji Sengen Shrine and take a boat ride on Lake Kawaguchiko. If the weather cooperates, you'll drive up to the Fifth Station for higher elevation views. By evening you'll settle into a traditional ryokan with onsen facilities to soak and relax after the day's activities (approximately 200 characters).

You'll travel through scenic mountain roads to reach Iyashi no Sato Nenba, a restored traditional village where you can walk around and check out arts and crafts shops plus cultural exhibits. Next you'll see Shiraito Falls with its 20-meter cascade of water. After that, head to Nagoya to spend time at the Toyota Museum, then continue on to Kyoto for an overnight stay (approximately 200 characters).

Kyoto
An English-speaking guide leads you through Kyoto's major landmarks starting in Arashiyama at Togetsukyo Bridge. You'll visit Tenryuji Temple and walk through its bamboo forest, then head to Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji (the Golden Pavilion). After the guided portion wraps up, you'll have free time to wander through Gion, Kyoto's traditional district with shops and restaurants (approximately 200 characters).

You'll travel through rural landscapes to Tsumago, a wooden village where you have time to explore and take in the traditional atmosphere before grabbing lunch at a local restaurant (included). Later you'll go to Matsumoto to see its 16th-century castle, known as 'The Crow' for its dark color, plus have free time to walk around town. You'll depart for Tokyo in the afternoon and arrive by evening (approximately 200 characters).
