Itinerary
- Day 1Arrival in TokyoYou'll clear customs and take a shared shuttle to your hotel to settle in. Later in the afternoon, you'll get briefed on what comes next for the tour. 
- Day 2TokyoSpend about five hours on a guided tour through Tokyo hitting Zojoji Temple and Tokyo Tower views, Shibuya Crossing, Meiji Shrine, Omotesando Avenue, the Imperial Palace grounds, Akihabara, Kokugikan sumo arena, and Sensoji Temple with Nakamise Street. Lunch is included at a local spot. After that, meet up with your guide in the evening and head by metro to Shinjuku for dinner, then return to the hotel. - Meals

- Day 3Mount Fuji and KawaguchikoHead toward Mount Fuji through scenic valleys to Arakurayama Sengen Park for views of the mountain, then move to Kawaguchiko town and Fuji Sengen Shrine. Take a boat across Lake Kawaguchiko and drive up the scenic road to Mount Fuji's Fifth Station at 2,305 meters/7,562 feet in the forest. Walk around the lake in the late afternoon, then check into a traditional ryokan with onsen bath access. Dinner's included. - Meals

- Day 4Kawaguchiko to KyotoDrive along scenic roads around the lakes to Iyashi no Sato Nenba, an open-air museum village with traditional houses turned into shops and cultural spaces. Visit Shiraito Falls with its 20-meter drop, then head to Nagoya to see the Toyota Museum (admission covered). Later, travel to Kyoto for your overnight stay. - Day 5KyotoExplore Kyoto starting with Arashiyama and Togetsukyo Bridge, then check out Tenryuji Temple (a UNESCO site) and its bamboo forest. See Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji Temple with its surrounding gardens. Afterward, you'll have free time to walk through Gion, Kyoto's traditional district.
