Itinerary
- Day 1
Uzbekistan to Darwaza
You'll drive to the Turkmenistan border at Shavat-Dashoguz where visa processing and border formalities take place. After crossing the neutral zone, your local driver and guide will meet you. From there, head out to Darwaza gas crater in the Karakym desert. Settle in for dinner and spend your first night in traditional yurts.

Darwaza to Ashgabat
Start with breakfast at the yurt camp before driving to Ashgabat. You'll pass by the Mud and Water crater on the way. Check into your hotel and rest for a bit. In the afternoon, begin your city sightseeing tour hitting the National Museum, Independence Park, Neutrality Arch, and the Ferris Wheel.

Ashgabat to Mary
After breakfast at the hotel, your sightseeing tour starts at 10:00 AM. You'll see Old Nissa Fortress, Spiritual Mosque, National Memorial Complex, and earthquake memorials. Stop for lunch, then continue to Ahalteke Horse Hippodrome. Later in the day, drive to Mary and check into your hotel for the night.

Mary to Bukhara
Have breakfast at the hotel, then check out Mary's local attractions including the Central Bazaar, Juma Mosque, and Russian-Orthodox Church. Drive to Ancient Merw to explore the surrounding sights. Continue via Turkmeabat to reach the BP Farab/Alat border with Uzbekistan. Cross the border where your driver meets you for the transfer to Bukhara for your overnight stay.
