- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and get settled at your hotel. Your guide meets you with important details about the city, then in the evening you head to Via Cavour to check out restaurants. There's quite a range of options here - Italian, Indian, Chinese, and other international spots - so you can pick whatever sounds good for dinner.

- Day 2
Rome
This morning starts with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome and a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. By 11:00 a.m. you reach Vatican City, then later transfer to Trastevere in the evening to explore restaurants and return around 8:30 p.m.

Rome to Florence
You leave Rome behind and head north through beautiful landscapes toward Florence. First stop is Piazzale Michelangelo for views across the city, then you walk through the historic center with a local guide. You'll pass Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. After that, you have free time to wander on your own before finding dinner at one of the many restaurants offering international cuisine in the area.

Florence to Venice
Today you travel through the Apennine mountains heading to Venice. Once you arrive, you take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to reach the island. From there, explore St. Mark's Square with a local guide, then visit the Murano Glass Factory to watch traditional glass-making techniques. You'll have some free time to check out the city on your own before settling into your accommodation in the Mestre district.

Departing Venice, you head to Austria. You arrive in Innsbruck with time to walk through the historic city center and have lunch. From there, continue on scenic mountain roads to Kitzbühel, a famous ski resort village, then keep going to Salzburg, arriving by the end of the day.

- Day 6
Salzburg to Lake Traunsee to Vienna
Morning time in Salzburg, Mozart's city with its Renaissance and Baroque architecture backed by a grand castle. Later you travel through lakes and mountains to St. Wolfgang, a well-known pilgrimage site, then to Traunkirchen on Traunsee Lake. There's an included cruise to see four of the lake's castles before you disembark in Gmunden. Then continue to Vienna, arriving in the evening.
