The trip was well planned among sites in different countries. Tour leaders Albert from Barcelona and Marcia were caring and professional. Other local tour guides in different countries were full of knowledge as well. The trip has its flexible itinerary such as free time in Budapest or Rome, so that tourists have a bit free time to discover the famous historical cities. Albert even made a customized little short stop at Innsbruck in Austria for us despite it was a long driving journey that day. The bus was comfortable and two drivers drove carefully and efficiently. I felt safe throughout the trip, not to mention the good and friendly people I met from all over the world. People came and went at different sights but it didn't feel a bit bad about the trip, making new friends has always been a pleasure. 9 days for less than USD1000 with professional tour leaders, well carried itinerary and comfy single hotel rooms without single supplement, I will try other euromundo trips whenever it is good for me and I will suggest to you as well. It's not a luxurious, high-end kinda trip, but u still feel that every dime you've spent was worthy.

I was pretty unhappy with G Adventures at the beginning as I had expressed concerns with my health and wanted to cancel but they wouldn’t refund my money. However, the guide that I had, Andrei, was so incredible. He was so comforting, helpful, kind, and fun. I was so scared going into it but Andrei was so amazing and I truly could not have asked for a better guide. If I could give him a million stars I would.

How Do You Best Experience Austria and Italy Together?

For something really special take a drive through the Austrian Alps on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road it reaches an incredible 8,215 feet up or wind through the Italian Dolomites on the Great Dolomites Road the views are just breathtaking.
How Much Time Should You Set Aside for Austria and Italy?
You'll want to give Italy at least 10 days there's just so much to take in with all the different regions and cultural spots. Austria needs about 5 days minimum to really experience those imperial cities and stunning alpine landscapes. If you're doing both countries together aim for 2 weeks that'll give you enough time to not feel rushed and really soak it all in.

What's the Best Way to Get Around?
The high-speed trains are your best friend here they run all day between the major cities and both countries have great rail systems - ÖBB in Austria and Trenitalia in Italy they're comfortable reliable and make crossing borders super easy. Regional buses can get you to the smaller towns and rural spots. If you want more freedom rent a car especially for those mountain areas. Just so you know the train journey between Austria and Italy takes about 13 hours but it's a really comfortable ride.
