Sundsvall to Örnsköldsvik
Continue driving north along the High Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage area known for its dramatic landscapes. You'll reach Örnsköldsvik by evening, home to the outdoor brand Fjällräven.

Örnsköldsvik to Umeå

Treehotel to Abisko
Travel far north to Abisko, one of the best spots in Sweden for seeing the northern lights. The remote setting and northern location create ideal conditions for viewing them if conditions cooperate.

Abisko
Spend the day on your own in Abisko exploring the landscape around you. Several hiking trails run through the area, and if you're lucky, you might see reindeer in their natural environment.

Abisko to Kiruna

Östersund to Falun
Your last stop before heading back to Stockholm is Falun in Dalarna. Go to Nusnäs to watch craftspeople make Dala horses, the traditional hand-painted wooden horses that are very Swedish.

Falun to Stockholm
