Dublin

Dublin - Powerscourt - Kilkenny - Rock of Cashel - Cork
Leave Dublin heading south to Powerscourt Gardens, an 18th-century estate with fountains, Japanese gardens, and interesting grounds (admission's covered). After that, stop in Kilkenny for lunch and a quick walk around. Later, visit Rock of Cashel, a medieval fortress with significant history, then continue to Cork for the evening where you'll have time to wander the city.

Head out from Cork to Charles Fort for views of the ocean and the 17th-century structure. Then explore Kinsale's historic center before driving to Killarney for lunch. The afternoon includes a horse-drawn jaunting car ride through the National Park with lake views and Ross Castle (included), plus a short boat tour on the lake. Stop briefly in Adare to see the stone cottages and abbey before reaching Limerick for the evening.

Next, head to Caherconnell to see Poulnabrone Dolmen and possibly catch a sheep herding demonstration. Later, walk around the Cliffs of Moher with the option to climb O'Brien's Tower (admission included), then drive through Burren National Park's dramatic landscape before arriving in Galway.
