Prague

- Day 3
Prague to Brno
Morning is yours to explore Prague however you want. After lunch around 3:00 p.m., you'll head to Brno in Moravia. Once you arrive, walk through the city center to see the Cathedral and Old Town Hall, checking out the modern architecture the city is known for.

- Day 4
Brno - Bratislava - Trencin - Krakow
Early start toward Bratislava, where you'll walk through Slovakia's capital and its well-preserved historic center along the Danube. Then it's on to Trencin, a small medieval town with an impressive castle and lunch stops. After that, you'll drive through scenic forests and rolling hills into Poland, pulling into Krakow by evening.

Krakow
A guided panoramic tour of Krakow takes you through the UNESCO Old Town with its medieval streets, the massive Market Square, and Wawel Hill's historic castle. The afternoon is free for your own exploration, and there's an optional trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mines if you're interested. The day wraps up with traditional Polish dinner.

Krakow - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - Wadowice - Auschwitz - Katowice
You'll visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a UNESCO monastery and Calvary complex, then stop at the wooden church in Barwald Dolny. Next, Wadowice, birthplace of Pope John Paul II, where you can choose to see his museum house or the basilica. The day includes touring Auschwitz and Birkenau as memorials and museums, plus a stop in Katowice's Nikiszowiec neighborhood to see early 20th-century miners' architecture. You'll have free time in Katowice afterward.

- Day 7
Katowice - Opole - Wroclaw
Head to Opole for a coffee break in this lively small town, then visit the Village Museum with its open-air display of rural Polish life from the late 1800s including wooden buildings, mills, and farms. Later you'll reach Wroclaw, a 10th-century city with influences from Polish, Czech, Austrian, and German cultures. Take an included boat ride on the canals and spend time exploring the beautifully rebuilt old town and its famous square.

Travel to Poznan, one of Poland's oldest cities, to see the impressive Market Square with colorful Renaissance buildings and catch the noon mechanical goats on the clock tower (a 16th-century tradition). After exploring the old town and having lunch, head to Torun, a Gothic walled city with a UNESCO historic center and birthplace of astronomer Copernicus. You can optionally visit his museum before continuing to Warsaw, arriving in the evening.
