- Day 1
Munich
You'll arrive in Munich and have the day to get oriented in Bavaria's capital. The English Garden is right there if you want to walk around, along with the Town Hall and Hofbräuhaus. Since it's your first day, you can explore at whatever pace feels right and grab a bite somewhere local to get a feel for the city.

- Day 2
Munich to Murnau am Staffelsee
This morning you'll cycle out from Munich through Forstenrieder Park toward Lake Starnberg, then follow the water along the lakeshore path to Seeshaupt. After that, the route takes you through small Bavarian villages and past the Osterseen and Riegsee before reaching Murnau am Staffelsee by evening. The full route covers around 70 km on nice cycling paths, so plan for a full day in the saddle with lunch somewhere along the way.

Murnau am Staffelsee to Leutasch
You'll head out following the Loisach river through the Murnauer Moos nature reserve toward Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From there, a well-built cycle path takes you to the Isar, and then you're riding through a high valley with mountain views all around. Later, you'll reach Mittenwald where the houses have traditional Lüftlmalerei paintings on them, then the route crosses into Austria through the Leutasch Valley following a stream to your accommodation. This 75 km day has some great scenery and a chance to stop and explore Mittenwald's architecture before continuing on.

- Day 4
Leutasch to Landeck
Leaving Leutasch, you'll ride gently rolling country roads before an 8 km descent brings you down to Telfs. After that, the cycling gets easier as you follow the Inn on what used to be the old towpath, passing through Stams where there's a baroque Cistercian monastery worth seeing. The route continues alongside the Inn past Imst and Zams Monastery before finishing in Landeck. Expect around 70 km today with some interesting stops along the river.

Landeck to Italy
Today you'll tackle a longer ride starting with a steady climb up the Inn Cycle Path to Martina in Switzerland. The real challenge comes when you head over the Reschen Pass into Italy, but the payoff is mountain views once you reach the top. This 80 km day is more demanding than the previous ones, so pace yourself and take breaks as needed. By the time you finish, you'll have crossed into a new country and earned those views.

Italy to Auer
Starting in Glurns with its well-preserved medieval town wall, you'll cycle down toward Merano, passing old mining ruins and castles along the way through Silandro. The route gives you views of the Ortler massif and Stelvio Pass as you ride. You'll go through Lana, Eppan, and past Lake Kaltern before ending in Auer, a quiet wine village. At 115 km, this is a longer day, so have breakfast early and stop for lunch somewhere in the middle, maybe even trying local wine if you want.

Auer to Lake Garda
You'll follow the Adige cycle path, which is fairly flat as far as Trento, an impressive city worth a quick stop. After Trento, continue through Rovereto, an old Tyrolean border town, then head to Mori. From there, go west toward Lake Garda and grab some pistachio ice cream at Gelateria Bologna in Mori if you get a chance. There's a small climb at Passo S. Giovanni (150 m), then you'll descend to the lake and reach either Torbole or Riva. The full day is around 95 km and ends right on the water.
