Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll land at Rome airport and get picked up for your hotel transfer. This afternoon, hop on the open-top bus with your included ticket and take in Rome's main sights from eight different stops. The commentary comes through in 12 languages, so you can follow along as you pass the iconic spots. After that, the evening is yours to relax at the hotel or wander around the city on your own.

- Day 2
Rome
A professional guide leads you through Rome's archaeological heart for about two and a half hours. You'll get personal radio receivers so you can hear everything clearly while walking through the Colosseum, then up to Palatine Hill where you get great views across the city, and finally through the Roman Forum. Once the tour ends, you have the rest of the day completely free to do whatever you like.

Rome to Assisi to Siena to Florence
You'll head out at 7:15 a.m. on a deluxe coach toward Florence. The first stop is Assisi, where you'll see the Basilica of St Francis with its incredible frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue, then grab lunch. From there, you'll drive to Siena to check out the UNESCO World Heritage Piazza del Campo. After that, it's a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside before arriving in Florence and checking into your hotel.

- Day 4
Florence
After breakfast, you'll walk through Florence's main attractions including the Cathedral with Brunelleschi's dome, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Lunch happens at a traditional Tuscan restaurant. The afternoon is free, so you can either wander around Florence at your own pace or join an optional trip to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower. The evening is yours to relax.

Florence to Bologna to Venice
You'll leave Florence and head to Bologna, where the historic centre is covered by famous porticos. Walking around, you'll see Piazza del Nettuno and the Basilica of San Petronio. There's time for a light lunch sampling traditional food and modern street food that Bologna is known for. In the afternoon, you'll continue on to Venice and check in at your hotel for the night.

- Day 6
Venice
A guide takes you to Piazza San Marco for a tour of Venice's main sights, including the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. During the tour, you'll stop to have a glass of spritz or prosecco with cicchetti, the small Venetian snacks. The afternoon is free to explore the canals, check out artisan shops, or find quieter spots around the city before heading back to your hotel.

Venice to Verona to Franciacorta to Bergamo
After breakfast, your guide takes you through Verona to see Roman ruins, medieval buildings, and Renaissance palaces. You'll stop at Juliet's house with its famous balcony. Then you'll head into the Franciacorta wine region for a light lunch with local dishes and wine tasting. Later, you'll travel to Bergamo for the night.

- Day 8
Bergamo to Lake Garda to Bergamo
You'll drive to Lake Garda, Italy's biggest lake, following the western shore with views of the Brenta Dolomites and Moraine Hills. In Sirmione, you'll take a boat trip to see the castle and Grottoes of Catullus. After lunch on your own, you'll stop in Desenzano del Garda to walk along the lakeside promenade and explore the historic centre with its Venetian character. Then back to Bergamo for dinner and overnight.

Bergamo to Como to Bellagio to Milan
Heading from Bergamo toward Como, you'll get beautiful views of Lake Como with the Alps in the background. You'll board a boat and cross the water to Bellagio, a refined village where two arms of the lake meet. It's known for winding streets, grand villas, and beautiful gardens. There's free time for lunch, then you'll ferry to Cadenabbia where your driver picks you up for Milan.

- Day 10
Bergamo to St Moritz to Tirano to Milan
You'll depart Bergamo toward St Moritz in Switzerland with free time to check out this famous alpine resort. Then comes the Bernina Express, one of the world's best rail journeys, winding across Bernina Pass through tunnels and viaducts with views of traditional villages and dramatic mountains. The journey finishes in Tirano, where your driver takes you back to Milan for the evening.

- Day 11
Milan
The morning is free to browse Milan's shops, grab coffee at a café, or walk around the elegant streets. In the afternoon, a three-hour guided walk starts at Porta Venezia (a historic gateway) and goes along Corso Venezia, through Giardini Indro Montanelli, past the Galleria d'Arte Moderna, along Viale Manzoni to see Teatro alla Scala and the striking Milan Cathedral, finishing at Castello Sforzesco fortress. You'll end with a relaxing aperitivo before heading back to the hotel.

Milan to Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino to Sestri Levante to La Spezia
You'll travel from Milan by coach toward the Ligurian coast. First is Santa Margherita Ligure, a graceful seaside town where you can walk by the harbour. Then you'll board a boat to Portofino with its brightly painted houses around a small bay. There's time to explore the narrow streets or enjoy harbour views. Next comes Sestri Levante for regional food and wine, then travel to La Spezia for the night.

- Day 13
La Spezia to Cinque Terre to La Spezia
You'll head into Cinque Terre, a UNESCO-listed stretch of coastline with steep cliffs and terraced vineyards. The route visits five villages, each different: Monterosso for beaches, Vernazzo for its harbour, Corniglia for its hillside location, Manarola for colourful houses, and Riomaggiore for dramatic views. You'll drive to Levanto, then take the local train to explore the villages with free time to wander, swim, or eat lunch. Return to La Spezia for the night.

- Day 14
La Spezia to Maranello to Modena to Venice
You'll leave La Spezia and travel through Italian countryside. First stop is Maranello for a guided visit to the Ferrari museum showing the brand's history and design. Then you'll head to a traditional acetaia near Modena to learn about making Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale, with a tasting paired with local specialities and a real lunch with a family. In the afternoon, you'll travel northeast across Emilia-Romagna and Veneto, arriving in Venice by early evening.
