- RVRyan· April 30th, 2024As mentioned by other review, I planned my flight to Taiwan (day 8) in the evening (19:45 PM) and would recommend this to others. It important to have the time so that no matter what happens you have time to get to the airport even if something like in my case a large protest is being held. Both the Korea tour and Taiwan tour where great, everything was well arranged and the tour guides where very good. Due to the earthquake in Haulien the itinerary was changed to a route taking us to Tainan and Lukang instead of the east coast. This was well communicated, the alternative route was fine and cosidering we felt the afterschocks while we stayed at Sun Moon Lake it understable that the east-coast will be off-limits for a while.Show moreMW Tours commented on this reviewHi Ryan, thank you for your comments. We are thrilled you enjoyed both Countries, and appreciate your comments in relation to the unfortunate earthquake that saw your itinerary altered. MW ToursTrip date: April 2024
- PUPeter· November 4th, 2023Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishSouth Korea - Day 2 to 8 Very good and interesting round trip (day 2 to 6), mainly because of our excellent tour guide Justin Jin-Cheol Choi. The excursions to the DMZ and in Seoul were then carried out by other guides. For the onward flight to Taiwan (day 8), we were given a time from 4 p.m. by the organizer, which is much too early for the city tour scheduled for the morning (not only participants from our group). The guide didn't know anything about this and the other participants had to rush through the palace and museum because of us! Taiwan - Day 9 to 14 Please change the description for day 9. We were not picked up from the hotel for the Jiufen tour in the afternoon after the morning city tour as described. Instead, we were dropped off somewhere in Taipei for a lunch break of just under an hour. The tour from day 10 was good in terms of the program. It was supposed to be a tour in English, but due to a number of fellow travelers of Chinese origin, a lot was explained in Chinese and only minimally in English. After we complained to the tour guide at some point, at least the most important things were explained in English. Hotels on the round trips good to very good. Please note - in South Korea, a considerable fee is charged for using the hotel pool.Show moreTrip date: September 2023

Traveler•Written April 2025I was thinking Jan or Feb, potentially March. Would prefer coolest weather and least rain if you can recommend a best time for this?
