Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Dades Valley
You'll leave Marrakech this morning and head into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing through Col Tichka. The route takes you past remote Berber villages where you can see traditional mountain life. From there, you'll reach the UNESCO World Heritage kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which sits dramatically on a hillside above the river. After exploring the kasbah, continue along the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs and through the Valley of the Roses. The drive ends in Dades Valley where you'll spend the night.

Dades Valley to Merzouga
Starting after breakfast, head out toward the desert through Todra Gorges where massive 200-meter rock walls rise up around you. Take a walk through the gorges to get a feel for the scale of the place. Then continue to Merzouga where you'll switch to camels for a desert crossing (4x4 is available if you prefer). Ride across the Merzouga dunes to reach a Berber haimas camp. Climb to the top of the dunes for sunset, and later enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the camp with the stars above.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Marrakech
Get up early to catch the sunrise from the dunes, then have breakfast at the camp. From there, head back toward Ouarzazate by driving through Rissani and checking out its traditional medina. Continue through Alnif and Tazarine, passing into the Draa Valley where you'll see impressive palm groves stretching out. After passing through the Berber village of Agdz, cross the Ait Saoun pass and make your way back to Marrakech by evening.
