Single Supplements are not applicable on this Adventure-style tour. The tours are sold on a sharing basis. Solo travellers will share a twin-bed room with a fellow solo passenger of the same gender. Traveler•Written September 2023We do not fit in the age range for your tours, we have two 17 year olds, a 21,19,and 19 year old. Plus 3 adults in 45-53. I understand we can't go on your 18-39 year tours but those are the itineraries that we really like. All 8 of us are interested in a very active trip. Is there a way to work this out?

Acacia's Adventure Tours were designed for those aged principally between 18 and 40 and the majority of clients fall within that age group. However the upper age is a guideline, not a rule. That said, the minimum age is 18. Furthermore, we do not offer departures for the 12-day Durban, Lesotho & Cape Town in December months.

Every Acacia Overland tour has an Adventure Pass which is paid to your tour leader in Africa at the beginning of the tour (or pre-paid by arrangement prior to your tour). This is separate and in addition to the Tour Price, and covers selected park entries, activities and excursions along the way where payment goes directly to the supplier to ensure local suppliers benefit directly from the income.
