Itinerary
- Day 1
Yulara to Uluru
Your family adventure kicks off with a welcome meeting at 4 pm at your hotel in Yulara. After introductions, you'll head out on transport to Uluru, the massive 348-metre rock formation that's been sacred to the Anangu people for thousands of years. You'll find a good spot to watch the sunset and see how Uluru shifts through different colours as the light changes, then spend time looking up at the stars and trying to pick out constellations.

Landmarks Uluru - Day 2
Uluru
This morning you're up early to catch Uluru changing colours at sunrise, moving from purple through red to orange. After breakfast, you'll grab a hat and sunscreen for a guided walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole with a local Anangu guide who shares Creation Stories and points out local animals and plants. Later you'll check out the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to understand the park's significance, then head to Kata Tjuta in the afternoon for the Walpa Gorge Walk, wandering through an oasis between towering domed rocks. This evening, there's an option to see the Field of Light art installation.

Uluru to Watarrka National Park
After a light breakfast, you'll get fitted for bikes and cycle around the base of Uluru, getting an up-close look at how the surface changes as you go around it. Make sure to bring plenty of water for this ride. Once you finish and say goodbye to Uluru, you'll travel through the Australian Outback heading to Watarrka National Park, with a lunch stop included along the way. You'll arrive at your accommodation with a free evening to settle in and enjoy the stars.

Landmarks Uluru Watarrka National Park - Day 4
Watarrka National Park to Finke Gorge National Park
You'll wake to the outback landscape and have a bushman's style breakfast at Kings Creek Station. Then you spend about an hour exploring trails around the station on an easy walk along the bottom of the gorge between giant red canyon walls on the Kings Creek walking path. Later, you'll depart for Finke Gorge National Park via the Mereenie Loop. By evening you'll be settled at your campsite by the Finke River, with the option to do the Kalangarra Walk before gathering around the campfire for dinner.

Landmarks Kings Creek Station Mereenie Loop Finke Gorge National Park Finke River - Day 5
Tjoritja (West MacDonnell Ranges)
Full day of outdoor activities in Tjoritja starting when you leave the campsite to visit Gosse Bluff (Tnorala), an asteroid crater from over 140 million years ago with cultural and scientific importance. Your guide will explain why the Western Arrernte Aboriginal people considered this a celestial site as you walk around it. Next you'll go to Ormiston Gorge (Kwartatuma) to walk between Ghost Gum trees and cool off in the swimming hole. You'll head back to camp by the Finke River to enjoy your last evening with the group.

Finke River to Alice Springs
An early start takes you to Simpsons Gap, a site important to the Traditional Custodians, where you can see views of Tjoritja (West McDonnell National Park) and watch for black-footed rock wallabies at sunrise and sunset. After exploring, you'll depart for Alice Springs where your trip ends. No activities are scheduled after arrival, so you can leave whenever suits you. If you want to stay longer in Alice Springs, contact your booking agent ahead of time.
