- Day 1
New York to Niagara Falls
You'll get picked up from the airport and drive through the rolling hills and charming towns of northeastern USA, heading toward Niagara Falls. The ride takes about 6 hours, so you'll have plenty of time to settle in and watch the landscape change. Once you arrive, head to your hotel near the falls and spend the evening walking around the American side to catch those panoramic views before dark. The sound and mist from the falls really hits different when you're seeing it for the first time.

Niagara Falls
This morning, start at Niagara Falls State Park where you can take in views of both the American and Bridal Veil Falls right from the overlooks. The main event is the Maid of the Mist boat tour, which takes you down to the base of the Horseshoe Falls and gets you close enough to feel the spray and power of the water. After that, walk the Cave of the Winds boardwalk for an even more intimate look at the falls from a different angle. You'll be wet and exhilarated by the end of the day.

Niagara Falls to Watkins Glen State Park to New York
Before leaving Niagara Falls, take one more look at the falls in the morning light. Then head back toward New York City, but stop at Watkins Glen State Park in the Finger Lakes region along the way. Walk the gorge trail where you'll see dramatic waterfalls and stone bridges carved into the landscape. After exploring there, drive through the scenic Upstate New York countryside and you'll be back in New York City by evening, wrapping up the trip.
