You'll arrive in Brussels and have time to settle into your hotel. Later this evening, your Travel Director brings everyone together for dinner to start things off and introduce you to the rest of the group.

Brussels
This morning your Travel Director shows you around Brussels, hitting the Atomium, Mannekin Pis, and the Grand Place. After that guided portion wraps up, the rest of the day is yours to explore. You can head to the Royal Palace, walk through Brussels Park, or hunt down some Belgian chocolate shops around the city.

Brussels to Ghent to Bruges
You'll travel to Ghent, a medieval port city with a great riverside setting. There you'll see three famous towers: Saint Nicholas Church, the Belfry, and Saint Bavo's Cathedral. From Ghent, you then continue on to Bruges for the evening.

Bruges
Start with a walking tour led by a local specialist who'll show you around Bruges. After that, you take a sightseeing cruise along the canals and get a different perspective on the city. Next, you visit a lace-making workshop to see how Belgian lace is actually made. The afternoon gives you free time to do your own thing, and by evening you'll join the group for a 3-course dinner.

Bruges to Luxembourg via Dinant
You'll head toward Luxembourg with a stop in Dinant to learn about the saxophone's origins there. From there you visit Orval Abbey, a 12th-century Cistercian monastery that's known for making Trappist beer. Back at the hotel later, dinner and wine are included for the evening.

Luxembourg
This morning includes a visit to the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial to pay respects to General George S. Patton. Then you'll take a walking tour of Luxembourg City with a local specialist, passing the Cathedral and Grand Ducal Palace with views over the gorges. You'll have the afternoon and evening free to explore the capital on your own.

Luxembourg to Amsterdam via Bastogne and Maastricht
You start by visiting Bastogne, the site of World War II's Battle of the Bulge. From there you head to Maastricht, a fortified city worth checking out. Later you travel to Amsterdam and take a cruise along the waterways to see the characteristic gabled facades that line the canals.

Amsterdam
This morning you explore Amsterdam's historic city centre. During the late morning, you join a small group tour of the Rijksmuseum with a specialist who shows you masterpieces by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Vermeer. If traveling between late March and mid-May, you'll also visit Keukenhof tulip gardens to walk through millions of blooms spread across 32 hectares.

Amsterdam to Delft to Rotterdam to Amsterdam
You spend the morning soaking up the Dutch atmosphere before heading to Delft by way of The Hague. At Royal Delft Pottery, you'll see how the delicate blue and white porcelain is created by hand. Then you continue to Rotterdam for an orientation tour of this modern port city. Later you return to Amsterdam for a Be My Guest dinner with locals.
