Bilbao
You'll land at Bilbao airport and connect with your transfer by 3 p.m. at the latest. From there, you head to Hotel Rebeco located in Cantabria within a national park setting. After you arrive and settle in, dinner is served to welcome you to the region.

Fuente Dé
This guided tour takes you on the Fuente Dé cable car, which climbs from 1,100 to 1,900 meters in about 4 minutes. Once you reach the top, there are nice views to take in followed by a walk along a snow-covered limestone path. The full day covers roughly 12 km with various ascents and descents.

Picos de Europa - Coriscao Summit
You'll head out early for a hike to Coriscao's summit at 2,234 meters. The trail covers about 9 km with 570 meters of elevation gain and loss, so plan for roughly 50 minutes just getting to the trailhead. Once you reach the top, the views across all three limestone massifs of Picos de Europa spread out in front of you. It's the kind of vantage point where you can see how the landscape connects, so bring a camera and give yourself time to take it in before heading back down the same route.

Picos de Europa
You'll hike from the El Cable mountain station toward the Cabaña Verónica refuge, which sits at 2,353 meters and has an unusual design built from an aircraft carrier dome. This guided hike covers about 10 km through the central massif of Picos de Europa with your guide leading the way.

Fuente Dé
This is your free day to do what interests you. Some options include relaxing at the local hot springs, walking through the medieval town of Potes, or heading toward the coast to check out Santander or the village of Santillana del Mar. Picos de Europa - Beech Forest Hike
This day involves walking through a beech forest in Picos de Europa with the river running alongside you. You'll follow the water course as it cuts through the foothills, and depending on the season, you might see snow still clinging to oak and beech trees. The full hike runs about 12 km with 680 meters up and 680 meters down, so it's a solid day of hiking. Wear layers since you'll be moving through different elevations and the forest shade keeps things cool even when the sun's out.

Picos de Europa

Bilbao
