Itinerary
- Day 1
Galle to Ella
Your pickup starts at 3:45 AM from Galle for the two-hour drive to Udawalawe National Park. Once there, you'll spend 4 to 6 hours on a jeep safari where you can watch elephants, buffalo, deer, crocodiles, and various birds in their natural environment. Around noon, you'll head to the Elephant Rehabilitation Centre to see the feeding session and learn how staff work with orphaned and injured elephants. After grabbing a fresh Sri Lankan lunch at a local restaurant, you'll travel on to Ella, a hill town surrounded by tea plantations with misty mountains all around.

Ella to Galle
Start early to reach Nine Arch Bridge between 6:30 and 7:30 AM, catching the moment when a train crosses those iconic stone arches set against tea fields and misty hills. After watching and photographing the bridge, you'll head to nearby Ravana Waterfalls to feel the spray and get photos of the dramatic cascade. By evening, you'll begin your return journey to Galle, though there's an option to add a safari at Yala National Park for an additional cost if you want to fit that in along the way.
