Our time in the cities seemed limited and allowed us mostly time to find some thing to eat for lunch but not really to explore the cities. I would say Mount Washington was the most memorable experience. The colors were limited the first couple days but then unbelievably dramatic the rest of the tour. I know timing of the leaves changing is always variable and different areas did have different amounts of color. I Our tour guide Paula was the best! Asked on August 6th, 2025What time do we meet for the tour on 15 OCT and where do we meet? Do you provide pick up transfer from JFK airport to venue of our meeting for start of tour?
ColletteOperator•Written August 2025We do not have a specified time for meeting since all travelers will have varied flight schedules. The Tour Manager may or may not be immediately available/waiting for travelers at the first hotel, so they will leave information at the front desk for all guests. There will be a welcome dinner scheduled for the full group to meet and review expectations for the program and timing for activities.

When you arrive at the destination airport, you have the option of getting the airport to hotel transfer one of three ways: 1. If you purchase flights through Collette, you receive the hotel transfers. 2. If you are handling your Own Air, you can purchase transfers starting at $75 per person, each way. 3. If you handle your own flights and do not want to purchase transfers, you would be responsible for getting from the arrival airport to the first tour hotel on your own.

No. As stated, the Inbound airport is Boston (BOS). Collette cannot accommodate transfers from JFK, so any arrangements outside of the given airports and dates will be your responsibility. You would have to get yourself from JFK to the Boston hotel.

Asked on July 29th, 2025May I ask where is the pick up point and drop off? Boston airport for both? Can it be arranged elsewhere? Do you do extension of tours for us or have other tour say 2 nights 3 days in Lancaster? Will there be lots of walking? Suitable for older people?

The overall activity level of this tour is a level 1. This means you're a leisurely traveler. You typically take it easy and discover the energy of a new place by people-watching or soaking in the atmosphere at a local café. You can climb at least one flight of stairs, board a coach, and walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty. We will reach altitudes of over 6,000 feet at the top of Mount Washington. If you have issues with altitude, you can elect to sit this activity out.

You begin and end your tour flying into and out of the Boston Logan International Airport. You will meet your tour group at the first hotel on tour NOT at the airport. We can facilitate a deviation flight from Boston to get you to an NYC airport at the end of the program, if needed.

We are looking at a 2 days 1 night OR 3 days 2 nights stay in Lancaster ideally with a tour package that covers the sight and sound theatre and a visit to the kitchen kettle village and then back to New York again.. are u able to advise me on this one? Do u have such a tour package?

That is correct. That date is now sold out. Space in general is very limited for the remaining 2025 dates. These are very popular tour dates for this program, so they often sell out months in advance.

Absolutely we can! If you are open to being on a waitlist, we would still have to carry through creation of a full reservation for that date. If anything becomes cleared from the waitlist, our Operations team would advise and then we would follow up with you. If you cannot clear the waitlist as we get closer to departure, then you would receive a full refund.

We have yet to book our flights and at this point, most likely flying in with Singapore Airlines and arriving JFK airport on 19th Oct 2025. Will stay over and then make our way to Boston. So do we have to be at Boston Logan airport to join the tour or should we check into the said hotel for the first day OR Collette can arrange to pick us up from the hotel in NY and then to Boston?
