  1. Day 1

    Ljubljana

    You'll arrive in Ljubljana and connect with your guide for a walking tour through the Old Town. The route takes you past Prešeren Square, across the Triple Bridge, and through the marketplace where you can try local salty chocolates. The Dragon Bridge is another key stop before you head to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around on your own.

    Lake Bled and Postojna Caves

    After breakfast, you'll travel to Lake Bled for a traditional Pletna boat ride out to the island church. There's free time to take in the surroundings, and if you're interested, you can visit Bled Castle on your own. Later, you'll head to Postojna Caves for a guided tour (bring a jacket since it's cool inside). You'll be back in Ljubljana by afternoon with the evening to yourself.

    Following breakfast and checkout, you'll drive about 2.5 hours to Zagreb. Your local guide will lead a walking tour covering the Cathedral, Dolac marketplace, Blood Bridge, Stone Gates, Ban Jelačić Square, and St. Mark Church. After checking into your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day free to explore at your own pace.

  5. Day 5

    Bihać to Sarajevo via Jajce and Travnik

    This day takes you through Bosnia's medieval heartland. In Jajce, you'll check out the Pliva Lakes, wooden watermills, and the Pliva Waterfall in the city center, then explore Jajce Fortress (once the capital during the Bosnian Kingdom). After Travnik and its fortress, you'll arrive in Sarajevo for the night.

There's time to try traditional Bosnian coffee and visit the War Tunnel Museum (entrance included). Olympic Mountain is another stop. Your guide will explain the city's role in World War I, the 1984 Winter Olympics, and the 1990s siege.

    I highly recommend this 7 day tour. It felt like two weeks. The guys are very kind and attentive and did a great job showing us their beautiful country. We learned a lot about Bosnia and enjoyed the time there a lot. We will definitely book one of the other tours with Tour Mage.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before December 15th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 15th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Tour Mage. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
