- Day 1
Ljubljana
You'll arrive in Ljubljana and connect with your guide for a walking tour through the Old Town. The route takes you past Prešeren Square, across the Triple Bridge, and through the marketplace where you can try local salty chocolates. The Dragon Bridge is another key stop before you head to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around on your own.

Lake Bled and Postojna Caves
After breakfast, you'll travel to Lake Bled for a traditional Pletna boat ride out to the island church. There's free time to take in the surroundings, and if you're interested, you can visit Bled Castle on your own. Later, you'll head to Postojna Caves for a guided tour (bring a jacket since it's cool inside). You'll be back in Ljubljana by afternoon with the evening to yourself.

Following breakfast and checkout, you'll drive about 2.5 hours to Zagreb. Your local guide will lead a walking tour covering the Cathedral, Dolac marketplace, Blood Bridge, Stone Gates, Ban Jelačić Square, and St. Mark Church. After checking into your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day free to explore at your own pace.

Zagreb to Bihać via Plitvice Lakes
You'll spend the day at Plitvice Lakes National Park, walking among the pristine lakes and cascading waterfalls. The scenery here is the main event. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Bihaći in northwestern Bosnia and settle in for the night.

Bihać to Sarajevo via Jajce and Travnik
This day takes you through Bosnia's medieval heartland. In Jajce, you'll check out the Pliva Lakes, wooden watermills, and the Pliva Waterfall in the city center, then explore Jajce Fortress (once the capital during the Bosnian Kingdom). After Travnik and its fortress, you'll arrive in Sarajevo for the night.

Sarajevo
You'll explore Sarajevo all day, walking through the Old Town to see Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture. There's time to try traditional Bosnian coffee and visit the War Tunnel Museum (entrance included). Olympic Mountain is another stop. Your guide will explain the city's role in World War I, the 1984 Winter Olympics, and the 1990s siege.

Once in Mostar, your guide will show you the UNESCO Old Town and the famous Old Bridge. There's free time to wander through the bazaar before the night.

You'll visit the key sights in Herzegovina starting with Kravica Waterfall, the region's largest and most beautiful one. Next is the medieval stone town of Počitelj for exploration. The day ends at Blagaj village and the Buna River springs. You'll return to Mostar for the night.

Mostar to Neum via Split
You'll drive about 2 hours back to Croatia and Split, the country's second-largest city. A guided tour takes you through the Old Town, walking inside Diocletian's Palace and along the main promenade with Adriatic views. Free time follows for exploration and lunch, then you'll drive south to Neum in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the night.

Budva to Tirana
