Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito
You'll arrive in Quito at 2,850m altitude in the Andean foothills. If your flight gets in early, there's time to check out the Church of the Society of Jesus, wander through local markets, or walk down Calle La Ronda, the city's oldest street. The welcome meeting happens at 5 pm, and you can join other travelers for dinner afterward if you'd like.

Quito to Amazon Jungle
Head to the Amazon Jungle today, stopping first at Guango Lodge near Papallacta hot springs where you'll see about 14 hummingbird species. After that, you'll board a motorized canoe into the rainforest heading to your eco lodge. Dinner comes next, followed by a guided night walk to spot fishing bats, owls, and toads. Bring a flashlight and camera for this evening.

Amazon Jungle
Start with breakfast before a full day of jungle activities. You'll hike into the rainforest with a local Indigenous guide who points out bird species and explains the local plant life. After lunch, visit a nearby animal rescue centre to learn about wildlife conservation efforts in the region. Later, meet your group for dinner at a local restaurant.

Amazon Jungle to Banos
Leave the Amazon by motorized canoe, then travel by private vehicle to Banos. Once you arrive, take an orientation walk around town with your local leader. The rest of your day is open, so you can bike the Ruta de las Cascadas, relax in natural hot springs, or visit religious sites like the Basilica of Our Lady of Holy Water at your own pace.

Banos
Travel to the Devils Cauldron entrance and see Pailon del Diablo Waterfall, which drops 80m with powerful spray, so bring a waterproof jacket. You'll catch panoramic views from the top before heading back to Banos. The afternoon is yours to spend however you like with your family.

Banos to Quito
Drive along the Avenue of the Volcanoes to Cotopaxi National Park. Hike to Limpiopungo Lagoon for views of Cotopaxi Volcano, Ecuador's second-highest peak and the world's tallest active volcano. Watch for condors, deer, and spectacled bears along the trail. You'll return to Quito this afternoon, and there's an optional final celebration dinner with your group.

- Day 7
Quito
You have a free day in Quito until the second welcome meeting at 5 pm. Consider visiting Mindo Cloud and Tropical Forest, browsing the Otavalo Indigenous Market and Condor Park, or catching a performance at Ballet Folklorico Ecuatoriano de Jacchigua. After the meeting, you can optionally join travelers for a celebration dinner.

Quito to Isla Santa Cruz
Fly to Isla Santa Cruz, one of the Galapagos' main hubs. Head to the Highlands to see giant tortoises roaming freely in their natural habitat, some weighing up to 400kg. Then go to Puerto Ayora town for a short orientation walk with your local leader, after which you'll have free time to explore at your own pace.

Isla Santa Cruz to Isla Isabela
Take a speedboat to Isla Isabela, the largest island in the Galapagos, known for penguins and sea lions. When you arrive in the afternoon, you'll go on a family kayaking adventure paddling through volcanic rock formations on clear, turquoise waters. Look for local and marine wildlife as you paddle. Later, find a local restaurant for dinner in town.

Isla Isabela
Board a small Zodiac boat to Las Tintoreras to spot blue-footed boobies and Galapagos penguins, then take a short walk and learn about iguana nesting sites. You'll snorkel through underground lava tubes, swimming with colorful fish and green sea turtles. After returning to Isla Isabela, visit the Arnaldo Tupiza Tortoise Breeding Centre with a thousand tortoises, then observe flamingos at a brackish lagoon. Finish with a cooking class at a local family's home where you'll make empanadas for dinner.

Isla Isabela
Your last Isla Isabela morning takes you to Sierra Negra Volcano, one of the Galapagos' most active volcanoes and home to the world's second-largest crater. Hike the family-friendly trail to explore the volcanic landscapes and take in the views. Find a local cafe for lunch during your free time. This afternoon, relax and swim at Concha de Perla Beach with its beautiful lagoons, mangroves, and sandy shores or snorkel among vibrant coral reefs.

Isla Isabela to Isla Santa Cruz
Take a speedboat back to Isla Santa Cruz, arriving in Puerto Ayora. Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, then spend time with a local artist focused on sustainability. You'll participate in a hands-on creative activity using plastic collected from local beaches, learning how waste becomes meaningful art and gaining insight into ocean conservation. Later, head to a local restaurant for dinner, with your leader's recommendations.

Isla Santa Cruz to Quito
After breakfast, board your return flight to Quito. Once you arrive, the rest of the day is free to explore however you like. Think about riding the teleferiqo sky cable cars for views of the city from above. There's also an optional final celebration dinner with your group if you'd like to join.

Quito
This is your departure day with no scheduled activities. You can leave Quito whenever works for your flight. If you're staying longer, consider visiting the Otavalo Indigenous Market and Condor Park or catching a performance at Ballet Folklorico Ecuatoriano de Jacchigua. Contact your booking agent ahead of time if you want to extend your stay.
