- PRPhilip· October 29th, 2024Billed as a "Real food adventure" I was expecting a generally higher standard of Thai food. Most was cafe or street food quality. Included food was listed as "6 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 4 dinners" but for about half of these meals an allowance of 100 baht was included for meals typically 390 baht plus beverages leaving us to make up the difference. Having spent the time and money to go on that trip I would have no objection to paying more for a higher standard of included meals. Accommodation was adequate as was transport. At 73 I welcomed the large amount of 'free time' but younger people could have felt that more attractions would be welcome. Our guide Kung was excellent, good fun and knowledgeable. I should mention that Kung handled a difficult situation with one of the travelers very professionally much to the relief of our group.Show more
