Itinerary
- Day 1
Departure to Seoul
Head to the airport and get on your flight to Seoul. During the flight, you'll have time to think about what's ahead as you travel to South Korea's capital city.



- Day 2
Arrival in Seoul
You'll land at Incheon Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Seoul. Spend the afternoon resting up, then meet your guide for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. After eating, it's a short walk back to the hotel.

Seoul Cultural and Modern Highlights
After breakfast, you'll head out to see Seoul's cultural and modern side. First stop is the National Museum of Korea with its nice gardens. Later you'll check out the COEX Library in Gangnam, then take the elevator up to Seoul Sky observation deck at Lotte World Tower for great views of the city.

Korean Cooking Course and Namsan
Start the day with a hands-on Korean cooking course near Guui Station where you'll prepare traditional dishes and learn about the history and techniques behind Korean food. Next, you'll walk through the busy Jayang market. Then take the cable car up Namsan to Seoul Tower for city views and walk down along the historic wall.

Historical Seoul and Hanok Village
Begin at Gwanghwamun Square to see statues of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-sin. Watch the changing of the guard at Gyeongbokgung Palace and walk around its gardens and buildings. Later you'll stroll through Bukchon Hanok village with its traditional wooden houses, check out Samcheongdong, browse art and tea culture spots in Insadong, carve your own Korean stamp, and end at Gwangjang market.

Seoraksan National Park
Leave Seoul and drive through the green countryside of Gangwon Province to reach Sokcho. You'll spend the day exploring Seoraksan National Park with its rocky granite peaks and thick forests. Take a cable car partway up, then hike with mostly steps to Gwongeumseong Fortress. Visit the quiet Shinheungsa Temple and its big bronze Buddha, check out Yeongnangho Lake for the views, and finish with dinner at Sokcho market.

- Day 7
Odaesan National Park and Temple Stay
Drive to Odaesan National Park and grab some snacks for a picnic along the way. Your hike starts at the quiet Sangwonsa Temple where you'll see an ancient bronze bell. Follow the Seonjaegil trail through tree tunnels and over bridges to Woljeongsa Temple where you'll sleep for the night (separated by gender). That evening includes a temple tour, vegetarian dinner, and an optional ceremony.

Andong Cultural Heritage
Head to Andong and visit Dosan Seowon Confucian Academy set in quiet nature, where you can learn about traditional values and see the architecture. You'll have lunch with local specialties, then visit Bongjeongsa Temple, which is Korea's oldest wooden building and was visited by Queen Elizabeth II back in 1999. After that, see Wolyeongjong Bridge and explore the UNESCO-listed Hahoe village, then hike up Buyongdae cliff for views over the area.

Gyeongju UNESCO Sites
Travel to Gyeongju, the old capital of the Silla Empire. The city is like an open-air museum with temples, ancient royal tombs, and natural landscapes all mixed together. You'll visit the UNESCO sites Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple, walk through Daereungwon burial ground with its green hills, see Cheomseongdae Observatory which is Asia's oldest, and watch Wolji Pond light up in the evening.

- Day 10
Busan Coastal Highlights
Travel to Busan, South Korea's lively coastal city. Head to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple which sits right on the sea cliffs with great water views. Move along the coast via the glass Daritgol Skywalk. Then ride the colorful Haeundae Sky Capsule wagons, which float about 10 meters above old railroad tracks and give you coastal views. Finish at Gwangalli Beach with its fine sand.

Busan Markets and Cultural Districts
Start by walking through Gukje Market and BIFF Square where you'll see vibrant pop culture and local goods. Check out the fresh fish at Jagalchi market and grab lunch with regional specialties. In the afternoon, explore Taejongdae Park with its high cliffs and sea views by taking the comfortable Danubi train. End your day at the colorful Gamcheon cultural district famous for its pastel houses, narrow streets, creative street art and K-pop imagery.

- Day 12
Songdo Coastal Path and Return to Seoul
After breakfast, you have the choice to hike along the scenic Songdo coastal path with good sea views, or just relax with a beach walk and check out some cafes. Pick up your bags from the hotel and catch the KTX high-speed train back to Seoul, relaxing as it cuts through the countryside. Once you arrive in Seoul, you'll transfer to your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing or walking around the lively district, then have your farewell dinner as your guide leaves.

Free Day in Seoul
This day is yours to explore the area on your own and pick up any last-minute souvenirs. In the evening, Myeongdong night market has lots of street food and a fun atmosphere. There's an optional morning group tour to the Demilitarized Zone or an optional Taekwondo class available in the afternoon if you want.
